Well I was going to make my move, but then I remembered that the Sun is in Leo and the first quarter moon must therefore be in Scorpio (at 2Sco). Venus and Pluto are retrograde and Mars in Virgo says hold on a minute! Christopher, it happens to the best of us and you're right up there. Get well soon.

That was the most original take on the Moon phases I’ve ever heard. Very relatable! Also, thanks for making me feel better- just knowing I’m not alone in having a summer cold.❤

After watching this video, I literally just clapped for the “bam” quality of insight at the end of this transmission. I feel this deeply (Sun Scop 4 degrees), being on the precipice of something So New (natal Moon in Scorp a New Moon Phase), especially after this New Moon in Cancer portal. It’s as if A lobster HAD to leave it’s old shell to grow, and this phase approaching is heralding the movement towards the NEW shell. It wants and needs to BE safe and secure in it’s new home (or body). So we are in transition from the Old Shell to the NEW…And it can be scary! …And Exciting😃… to travel or move towards something so un-familiar, and yet, so necessary for Soul Growth. Deep into the Unknown We All Must Go to Grow!…🦞 I always feel so inspired after listening to your videos Christopher🌹😊. I relate waxing moon to hand dipping candles. Every time you dip it in the hot wax and pull it out, it's larger!

This provided just the clarity of lunar phases that I’d hoped for having just learned about my first quarter natal moon at 27 degrees.. The nugget about opposition was super helpful, too. Great, Christopher…thank you!

The October 22 FQM is on my bday and degree,and indeed it was 1st 1/4 when I was born as well. Not relating personally to what you mentioned for This months and October's FQM....no love relationship, but might be more in the professional realm as it is in my 10th house. OMG. I loved the wildfire reference. I grew up with that song and I am born on a new moon at 12° Pisces sun and 14° Pisces moon in the 2nd whole house! I love that particular refrain in that song and it always touched me. I guess I know now why 🌑🌞

Wow, Christopher, this has helped me and I think I need to watch it a few more times because I was taught that I was born during a 1st quarter Moon. I'm a Gemini Sun 26* and Libra Moon 7*, which is 100 degrees and I was taught by degree 90-134 degrees is considered 1st Q Moon. However, what they said about it was very different from you and I was scratching my head because they described it as Driven, ambitious, self Motivated and high energy to name a few, all of which I don't resonate with (my Sun is in the 8th and I'm Scorpio Rising). UGH. So thank you for the different perspective. Also, I had to laugh about your analogy about the Yoke. I was JUST telling someone that my Mom used to say that marriage was like being in a yoke or double yoke...in order for it to work you had to match your partners pace. I've been blessed with a man whom I've known since 1979 and married to for almost 33 years! Sorry for the ramble (c'mon, I'm a Gemini, LOL!) LOVE you and thanks again!

Yes, I encourage playing with the Moon and its phases to see what resonates with you. It makes a VERY different statement than the Sun + Rising Sign. And congratulations on 33 years of marriage. A true reflection of the Sun in Gemini and Moon in Libra! 😊

I'm 29 libra newmoon conj Scorpio 2nd house

Loved the descriptions of the moon phases… not understanding the mention of the 29th degree here… The first quarter moon this moon is at 2’43 Scorpio. The moon in libra will square the nodes earlier in the day. (I made some notes in a comment…) Would love some clarification! Thanks! And feel well soon!

Yep. That was my TOTAL misread. I was thinking of the Moon/South node conjunction at 29 degrees Libra square Pluto at 29 Capricorn and that somehow turned into a First Quarter Moon. It reminds me of that old story about the Astrologer who fell down into a well because he was so absorbed in looking at the Stars that he wasn't looking at where he was going. My apologies @meheradennison5415 and I hope that this clarifies the situation. 😊

He FINALLY starts talking about the First Quarter moon at the 23 minute mark. Jeez, talk about a misleading title.

😮 Wowzers. If I'm looking at this right, this 1st Q Moon in Libra activates a cardinal grand cross that forms a sextile to my native Venus retrograde in Leo. I have a balsamic Leo Moon at zero degree in the same sign as my native retrograde Venus at the 29th degree. This cardinal grand cross consists of Saturn at the 28th degree of Cancer in an out-of-sign conjunction with my Moon, if that's a thing; and then we have Uranus at the 29th degree of Libra in an out-of-sign conjunction with my MC in Scorpio, we have Chiron at the 27th degree of Aires conjunction retrograde Jupiter and last but not least of all is transiting retrograde Pluto in Capricorn (my 1st House...Capricorn rising)...apparently trying way too hard lol. Lawd.

You got it @ginadiamond2959 EXCEPT for the fact that I mislabeled this a first quarter Moon when it is actually a Moon/South Node conjunction at 29 Libra squaring Pluto in Capricorn at 29 Capricorn. I had squares on my mind when I did the broadcast. The first quarter Moon for July 25 is actually the Moon at 2 Scorpio squaring the Sun at 2 Leo. Hope that this clarifies. 😊

thank you - recommend NAC and Bromelain (pineapple or apples) for Immunity. I am curious 🌓why does my ephemeris say 2 degrees Scorpio 43 sq Sun in Leo at 6:07 pm EST which is semi sextile my Saturn in Sag? 29 Libra in 2nd conjuncts my Neptune opp mercury, square Mars in Cap and Uranus in Cancer - research and healing and launching new methodologies in healing - born on New moon combust balsamic at 18/ 20 Aries -and yes, seeing before others clearly what things are ending, the truth, and what is coming but often ahead of time and others not yet ready to see. Exciting and frustrating.

I'm a little confused...my ephemeris for July 25 shows the moon in Libra squaring PLUTO in Capricorn at the 29th degree...and that 7 hours later the moon in Scorpio squares the sun at 2 degrees 43 minutes Leo.

The reason you're confused is because I was confused 🙄 I got that Moon/South node Libra square to Pluto confused with the Moon/Sun square. Essentially I mixed up my squares and quarters. 😊 Good ephemeris reading btw. Bravo!!! 👏

if the sun is now in Leo is there a reason to link this moon back to cancer and the square aspect? is this a sort of elongated aspect or using a 3degree Orb? I personally have Mars at 29 cancer (1st House) the sun conj n. mars a couple days ago, so perhaps this 1st quarter moon is pinging that moment/replay/deja vu. tbh i have a lot more personal aspect to this moon so i feel like Christopher made this video for me to notice it lol “where do things really begin and end?” we have this cycle every month, 12 times a year, it can be puzzling to link aspects back to past transits but astrologers are doing it all the time. its a beautiful web, thank you.

I have the same question? Why is the 29 degrees the quarter when the new moon was near 25 and the sun will reach three degrees tomorrow (on the 25th) ? Are we just paying attention to the proximity to the Aries eclipse square this month, with the moon square to Pluto tomorrow? The square in the sky tomorrow will happen at 2’43 Scorpio (activating a different eclipse…maybe a preview of the Oct 26, 2024 eclipse at 5’09 Taurus?). I didn’t follow the logic, as the moon was in Virgo this moon when the cancer sun was at 29 degrees….

I wish I could say that it was some sort of elongated aspect, but no. It was just me mislabeling the 29 degree Libra Moon/South node square to Pluto at 29 degrees Capricorn. I saw square my Mercury in Sagittarius saw First Quarter Moon and the rest - unfortunately - is history. I apologize for the error. 😊
