I have no idea about this. I accept a $130 salary every month and what I'm doing is insane I was working on 4 accounts on different platforms and graphic design for every post. 21 posts and plus 2 reels for each account. Plus 21 videos. I was planning to change everything starting now and will talk to my client about this lol I just started last June 15. This is my first time tho. Thank you!

I have been interested in social media management for a long time. Can you please tell to me what does social media manager do every day? How does social media manager work remote in the companies? For example: If I apply for a job on websites where social media management jobs are presented how can I convince them to recruit me? Should I work free for a while? I am pretty new in social media marketing and don't know many things. I will be thankful if you answer me :)

Paid Ad strategies please

I do all of this and more for like 500€ 🤦‍♀🤣 Hope to get to this price someday. I also shoot high quality video, script them, edit them and etc. I also do like 15-20 pages of marketing strategy before making a content calendar for the client.

Definitely work to charge more!! If they went and hired a UGC creator JUST for that content alone, they would charge more. But it’s also a journey to get here! This has been 5 years of constantly increasing my prices. You will get there ❤️

Been considering hiring a SMM for some time but my biggest concern is the security of my accounts and the access the manager has when handing them over access. Can you do a video about how to quell fears of losing an account to a manager locking you out by changing passwords or deleting accounts? Are there legal protections that can serve as possible safeguards against this potential behavior?

you should hire someone who is professional and uses a software to handle all the stuff and also has given you access to the software so you can track their activity.

No one can lock you out without you approving it first. The app will send a notification to the email you used to open the account, if you don’t approve then it won’t work. This is why as a social media manager I encourage my clients to use their own email and number to open their account before giving me access.

@@plevel7670 yes, as Lillie said, we normally use meta business suite for posting on Instagram and Facebook. It's convenient, safe and secure. You should look up for it.

Wait I have a question.. How much time do you devote to free engagement before you start charging extra? No need to give accurate numbers or anything i just wanna like understand the structure this is laid out at.

I only have set number of minutes for engagement, everything else has set deliverables, not time. I then charge a package price based on the value of the work I'm doing, not the minutes Im working. What would a "set of stories" be? I guess its plenty content, and do you use the content delived on the package or is it new content?

3-5 stories roughly in a set, sometimes more if the topic calls for it. The point is it’s not just one single story as I don’t find this adds a lot of value or helps engagement. They are mostly designed in Canva or feature BTS photos my client has sent through. Often testimonials/reviews or product breakdowns :)

How do you find client who wants organic content? I feel like dying so slowly. Most of my client want immediate results and I feel like the easiest way to do that is with adds

Advocate the benefits of a long term brand awareness and engagement. Use case studies. You need to position yourself so the clients find you. I am also not sure what you mean by results (sales, leads, engagement, reach etc.) but you can achieve that organically it just takes time to test what works for that business. If they have a set goal for results that helps.

Yes I am providing the strategy. I am in charge of all the content creation, planning and posting - this includes strategy!! For this particular client we also did an additional one off strategy session to kick off there services which was an additional fee.

Also, never underestimate the value of “just executing”. This is a huge amount of content to edit and manage and do it well

Study the clients business, learn everything you can. If in doubt, ask your client to draft a reply for you. Over time you will become great at it!
