Jamaicans might move to developed countries such as the the USA, UK and Canada for a “better life”. BUT those countries are boring with zero vibes. Jamaica may not be wealthy; but what it lacks in wealth it makes up for with friendly people and vibrant atmosphere. Jamaica is blessed with natural beauty and the people have a “ joie de vivre”.

If she doesn’t know what he’s babbling on about, how will she understand it? Jamaicans need to get it in their heads that they’re the only ones who understand Jamaican ‘patois’. It would be more respectful to the person that you’re with if you make an effort for them to know what you’re saying to them. After all, English is the official language of Jamaica and if you go to school that is what you’re taught in. It’s confusing for someone to know what is being said to them, when it would be easier to just speak the language that you both know and understand. That would make more sense.

Go with a kingstonian and watch there alertness and mannerisms. We usually walk purposefully and when I was going school we never wore walets downtown or kept phones in our pockets or hands but much has calmed since zekes was locked up around 2009. But I'd advise watching body language when traveling first with someone. Most middle Cass and upper class wouldn't go downtown at all but shopped at tropical plaza or sovereign or places in half way tree. 😂😂

🇯🇲🇯🇲 rMiss Trudy & Walkby in the streets. Time is fleeting, tomorrow will not repeat. “Wow, this is amazing, that’s how you do it?” Yes we also say “sidung pon it” and “dat is it”. Some are camera-shy, some dodgy about it. The ones I dislike are the offensive culprits. “No privacy in public spaces, go find a closet”. Free promotion of Jamaica, tourism benefit. Trudy you seems to really enjoy your street walkby. Hope you’ll never forget us when you say goodbye. You our African Queen is in our hearts as we speak. You’re such a feminine boss-lady yet so meek. Ghana-baby you’re a lucky guy with dimple cheeks. Bigup to all Africans in the diaspora or the mother land. Jamaica love is intentional, no ulterior motive or plan.

Speaking the Jamaican vernacular is not ignorant by any standard. That is the guy’s way of doing his vlogs. Unlike you many persons love hearing it and actually follow to listen to him. Even if he spoke the Queen”s English the whole world still doesn’t understand English. If you truly find our vernacular offensive just find a “proper” queen’s English gentleman to view.
