    Don’t comment on KZread videos very often but just to say absolutely love your videos. Watched a whole bunch over the last few days and love the style and level of complexity. As you say a lot of other lawn channels are run by ‘pros’ and things get complicated with expensive machinery very fast. I think you’ve got an absolutely perfect niche here. Also - don’t justify yourself. This is your channel do whatever the hell you want. There’s always haters online, just the nature of it.

Also a complete beginner myself, so I like how you make these videos and explain yourself. Regarding the rambling, carry on lad, better than something that’s edited to the max and no character behind it. Keep at it!

    You know what? I am a regular viewer of your KZread Channel. I have seen all your videos and your content qualities are very good. I learned lots of things from you. Your channel has great quality contents but still it is not delivering its right audiences due to SEO problems. You should focus on your SEO so that You can get a big fanbase. Thanks.

    Buddy love your journey, I’m going more fescue this year after 2.5 years of Rye and after this dreadful winter and my lawn making me want to cry. I think it’s the way forward, obviously more thatch (no biggy) just less feeding and over-seeding, and a lawn the will look after itself a bit… looking forward to how your lawns fair this season 👍

    Nice video and general update. Really like the way you provide honest and simple advice based on your own experiences. I think the planting around the back lawn is looking like a real success. The hedge in your front lawn has had a haircut! Interested in your feedback on the lawn association course which I may do later this year. I’m on day14 of my fescue/bent overseed and no germination yet. As you said, it’s been colder than expected but fingers crossed for next week. I’m still keeping the area damp/wet but wonder if you know how long they will stay dormant or if the seeds will die after a certain time.

  • @NoviceGardener

    @NoviceGardener

    Nice one 👍🏻 I hacked the hedge at the front within an inch of it's life a couple of weeks ago. It was slowly taking over the lawn (and the road 😅). I'm not sure how long it takes to rot, but fingers crossed it's still just sitting dormant. I recon you'll know by this time next week as temperatures seem to be on the rise. I did a few test pots in the house the other week just to get an idea of how long the bent/fescue would take to germinate in perfect conditions. The rye germinated in less than 48 hours, but it took almost a week for the bent/fescue to show anything. Seems like it's more of a slow burner unfortunately! Course wise, I found it really useful. I keep going back to it before the weekend to make sure that what I'm doing is right 😅. For regular home owners, I can see why some would see it as expensive. But to be honest, the info gets right to the point (no fluff).
