The cheapest dividers is to use one of the akro mils dividers that it comes with and use it as a template and use the cardboard flaps off of the akro mils box. It is a little time consuming to cut them but it's free.

Nice work with the video, storage is a widely discussed topic and it can never hurt to get more ideas whether a collector or seller

If anyone has a Menards near them, I highly recommend the tuff store drawer cabinet. Just as durable as akro and half the price.

Thank you Evan. Great video. We have a HUGE LEGO collection and we've been using the Akro Mills storage cabinets for a while. I DO like your store idea about giving each element a draw # as oppose to the element #. Thank you again. Build On.

Hi, great video, I agree that it's best to start with just bins- however, when you keep the sets waiting to be parted out, what do you do about the fact that their part out value- will decrease if they sit for too long?

Hi Paul. That was awesome storage compendium. You are awesome as well. In next Tekken they should use you as a Paul character 3d model.

I like making bionicle mocs and I don't want to rummage through a large bin full off stuff for an hour just to find the one piece I'm looking for so one of those "acromills" or whatever they're called seems like a good thing to have

The Akro Mils are great! The only downside to them is the cost. It fluctuates a lot and sometimes they are incredibly expensive. They are however, pretty nice cabinets. Thanks for watching!

You said that you had instructions priced at 1 cent each and they never sell. Do you keep them in your store just to increase your lot/ part #'s?

Bins with ziplock bags is a good starting point as you said. I’m also doing it this way atm. But it gets time consuming pretty fast. I just hit 3900 ziplock bags with 1 to 3 lots each... I‘m a bit jealous of your awesome drawer wall :)

This is probably a dumb question but do you count pieces by hand? Because I have a way more efficient method I’d be glad to share for free to save a LOT of time...

They might get slightly scratched but no more than then being in a bag in an official LEGO box also rubbing around next to other parts. Thanks for watching!

And if you buy parts directly from Lego's Pick a Brick service, they will ship your order with many different bricks all sharing a single plastic bag. Personally, I don't see it as a big issue.

Yes! Definitely too tall. I would highly recommend 4 MAX. Any more and it becomes inconvenient. When we move we are not going any higher than 4, and moving it down to 3 has been a discussion as well.
