What is your process for getting rid of mosquitoes??

Also, to me, the main purpose of IGR in a mosquito control program is to reduce chemical resistance.

Dabbing 1oz of tekko pro in the tank is well under label rate. I believe its 1.5oz/gallon. IGRs absolutely work and they have a delay in controlling populations. We use Pivot 10 as our IGR. Long residual and we use it at 4ml/gallon.

Proflex is a great product. Has a igr in it already. Also invest in a actual backpack mister. Way more efficient and will get the chemical higher and deeper into thick bushes and trees.

I prefer oneguard over Proflex (during summer months) as my supplier gets it for cheaper price per ounce and they’re the same product just different manufacturer. As for backpacks, I’d you get the right tips that we have that flowzone released last year it makes all other setups obsolete. I had a few different sthil ones, tomahawk as well and before the new tips came out you’re right. Now I’ll never go back to those over priced POS’s. I use 1-4 gallons per treatment now outside of really large homes of course just like I did with the overpriced junk ones and have the same results.

@@GriffinThomasMFCEO I'll have to look into those tips. Might come in handy when a customer wants a treatment, but I don't have my mister with me.

You’ll fall in love, I eve use it on perimeter sprays now because it’s such a wide fan that it goes up 1-2 ft out 1-2 ft depending how far back you step (I’m usually 2-3ft from the foundation ish)

Misters have a purpose and place but for tight residential properties like the one he is on, a backpack will provide more control and less drift.

Great job as always. I throw altosid granules in standing water to help with future mosquitos. Also I beat it in the customers brain that if your neighbors aren’t doing anything for their mosquitos they will still be around but not as bad in your yard. Tons of people try to get their money back saying it doesn’t work.

Yup! I’ve even lost one here and there after a year of the service because they’re like idk why my neighbor won’t help with getting service for their yard so I’m just done. I’m like well shit lol

And as for money back I haven’t had that issue as I tell them up front to only expect a 60-90% decline in most cases and explain that hey you don’t have a dome over your yard so they’re still going to find a way to you occasionally

@@GriffinThomasMFCEO absolutely. As long as you’re setting the expectations and they’re pretty reasonable everything should go well. Most people in the end will tell you the truth of “I can’t afford it anymore “ instead of trying to get the money back

Do you have a part number for the spray tip in the flow zone? I just purchased one and I'm curious to see if it's the one I'm using. Also, what size tank and sprayer is on the skid in your truck?

And currently a 35 gallon setup which is my original one from when I first got started. I’ll probably keep it too for general pest control and hand it down to my technician. When I’ll need to buy another truck I’ll get a 50 gallon setup for that one
