My husband and I “sleep divorce”. Love the man but need space. But he lets our miniature long hair dachshund sleep with him and I sleep with our two cats. He sleeps in a full and I sleep in a king sized bed. My cats do keep me awake though wanting kitty treats. 😬

I love how the dogs were giving you guys some space but the cat was like "nah, im sleeping on your face".

This was so much fun to watch. Can't believe you actually get any sleep. Our two fur babies lie on the floor in our bedroom. They move around quite a bit. I constantly wake up checking on them. I have long suspected my cats (at one time, I had four) were the reason for my weird sleeping positions and frequent 'wake ups' in the night. After watching this, yeah, I see it now. My parents were lucky, however, in that the Husky decided that a space under their bed was the ideal 'wolf cave' and she slept there. When they took in one of my stray dogs, the Husky essentially forced that dog to sleep under the bed, too. LoL

I was surprised by how much the dogs move around at night. The cats, you expect because they're nocturnal. When I was growing up, we had a cat that would visit each of us each night before settling down to sleep with one. She would worm her way under the covers starting at one shoulder, creep all the way down your body and back up again, then settle down on top of the blankets.

Cats are more social than people think. They love to sleep with those they love and trust. They like the warmth in the heartbeat of each other and humans they wish to be near. Dogs are no different. But they’re easier to train. Getting a larger bed, will make room for two more dogs. I had a king size bed, and I soon found that they only spread out more and crowd more next to you. A friend of mine had the same problem. He had two cats, and three large dogs ( 2 great dans & 1 mastiff). He had to king-size bed next to each other, after turning the living room into a bedroom, he discovered that all of them were crawled up close to him and part of the second king size bed was hardly used, except on extremely hot nights (no AC) His house was on the beach and he always had a cool breeze, most of the time. In the winter there was no need for auxiliary heaters when he slept. Every night was a three dog night …. And 2 cats.

I just love it. Everybody is telling me that my pets have me trained well. I just love pets. Being with my pets are the happiest moments. My cat is a hero. She woke me up when it was a fire in my house. She could escape through the pet door, but she didn't . Love to all your little buddies

Thats unhealthy. Try straight 8 hours. More than 8 doesnt do anything for you. The longer you sleep the worse you will feel.

Cats sleeping next to you is a sign of love. They see (and senns i guess), that you are in a "vulnerable" state so they lie next to you, in an effort to at least warn you if something bad happens. They are loyal like dogs in this regards, even if they dont have their "fighting" spirit... :D

I actually sleep better with animals on and in my bed and cuddling up to me, than before I had animals...Nothing calms me down more than a soft furry cat laying against my chest spinning and snoring.Got a Husky, 2 Malamutes, 2 cats and a kingsize bed.Luckely I'm single.If I get a girlfriend, she'll have to sleep on the couch...'cause there's no space left in my bed.😆 The only downside is the amount of cat and dogfurr that gets left on the sheets.(Certainly when the weather gets warmer and the animals start to shed their winterfurr).For anyone who has never had a Husky or a Malamute before...YOU COULDN'T EVEN BEGIN TO IMAGINE HOW MUCH FURR THEY SHED WHEN IT GETS WARMER !!! And it isn't easy to get out of the textile of the sheets.So for people who want animals and want their animals to sleep with them...You need to know you will never sleep in a bed that's free of hair.You really need to love animals and be ok with the fact that your sheets and pillows will be covered in hair.NOT RECOMMENDABLE FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ASTMA!!!

Aww your furbabies are so gorgeous, I totally understand why you share the bed with them. It's wonderful that they just want to be with us. I have 2 rescue cats, and they're on/off several times a night, and one demands about 5 lots of cuddles at different times in the early hrs of the morning, the other often sleeps on my legs or blocks the bed so I can't stretch my legs out. Still, I adore them!!!

My pets sleep in my room and in or around my bed, it's lovely to have them close by and sometimes I wake up to a cat making biscuits on my tummy and it's so lovely

Hubby & I had to get a king size bed to accommodate the 3 cats and 1 dog. One cat would sleep on hubby’s feet and the dog was under the covers next to hubby’s legs. Then another cat was right next to me. That leaves the third cat to sleep in her little pumpkin bed or royal throne bed. She was really scared and half feral when I brought her home. She will cuddle with me during the day, but as soon as hubby gets in bed she is off like a rocket. Silly girl. 😉 The cat that slept next to me has since left for the rainbow bridge. Now the cat that slept on hubby’s legs will sleep on, more like in, my left hip. She is the one that has decided that breakfast and A.M. meds need to be done at 3-5:30ish range. Then I can go back to bed and sleep til I wake on my own. She is 15 and the pumpkin cat and dog are both 12 so they get chicken baby food with their meds mixed in, so 15 yo is always eager for it. I don’t think y’all are mad at all. Just that you are owned by a bunch of fun loving fur babies. Thanks for the video. That was wild. I may have to do that myself for our bunch.

Cats are crepuscular. (Real word) it means they are normally most active at dawn and at dusk. If your kitty is too active at night, be sure to have playtime during the evening. This should help them settle. Teach your cat early on. Don’t let them on the bed at night. They are trainable. Have a comfy cat bed somewhere elevated. They like to be up on things. Reward with a treat for being in their bed. If they crawl in with you, move them back to their bed. They will get it. A few nights of patience training will yield years of good sleep for you. Same for dogs. Good luck everybody!

This video makes me miss my late cats, and now I also want a dog haha. Sharing bed space with your critter can be relaxing even though it is frustrating at times! I had to sleep with 1-3 cats multiple times throughout my childhood. One was literally my best friend who would literally climb a ladder to get to my bed (the top bunk), the second followed the former around often, and the third just did what she wanted. We had more cats but they were attached to my parents and rarely came into our rooms to begin with.

The pack sleeps together! I mean people used to sleep in the same room as their livestock cuz it was cold and they didn't have more room. It's not weird that animals including people seek warmth and safety with each other when they go to sleep. We have done this since forever.

I loved this! And I will now try to film us during the night! We have two male huskies and a girl-cat (but the cat mostly sleeps in the livingromm I think - I might be wrong)... I totally get the refeif of having an opurtunity to stretch you legs though!

So cute. My boyfriend has two cats. The boy cat sleeps between us and the girl cat sleeps right by my feet. Animals are so precious and funny.

Why am I so fascinated by this

I feel a lot better seeing how much your babies move at night. I keep buying different beds thinking that it’s the bedding.

Very cute, also looks like a nightmare to get any actual sleep haha

Да уж, какой тут сон.. Интересное видео. 👍 Мой кот любит спать на моих ногах, кошка - рядом, и то иногда. Кот каждое утро в 6ч меня будит, ходит по мне, если ушёл ночью. Люблю спать с котом!

вот по этому как раз я не пускаю животных в комнату где я сплю, потому что спать крепко и выспаться ,не возможно! я жил с кошкой ОДНОЙ , и это не выносимо ,ты постоянно просыпаешься , потому что она ходит по твоему лицу) и тд, это все мило и прикольно, но без крепкого глубокого сна , человек будет разрушаться , короче надо ценить свой сон

I miss my dog. Slept with me for 13 years, she never once woke me up during the night and usually she was in the exact same spot in the morning that she was when we went to bed. Good old girl.

I love how all your pets spend the night with you. I have a cat, and she also sleep in my bed and come wake me up in the morning. This is really something special. (Except that my cat mostly sleep on me so I had to learn to deal with that lol)
