What do monks do all day? Why would anyone become a monk? (+more!)
#monk #monasticlife #interview
I interviewed Fr. Dr. Edmund Waldstein, a Cisterician monk and priest, about his vocation. He lives in Heiligenkreuz Abbey (Austria) @StiftHeiligenkreuz1133 which was founded in 1133 (!).

I love your channel. Just encountered it an hour ago with your review of the book, "Believing Is Seeing." Love that you focus on your topic...not a moment wasted. When I encountered God at 45, I fell in love with the monistic/religious life. As a married woman with two teens, I had to find my own way integrating these two loves. Fr. Waldstein's information makes me smile and reinforces some of my own experiences. I will be a regular viewer. Thank you!

Sorry I thought something different there, not that I thought actual monks got married, I was so happy my mind ran with a different thought, i had never considered married couples as monks before, forgive me, my imagination was still active I think.

Good question! This video gives a good response to that (irrespective of whether one supports the SSPX or not): kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y42jwaepaLmforQ.html
