What duties do you perform as a medical biller?

Hi I've been a medical biller for 24 yrs starting at a little billing office to now working in a corporate office..... Very good advice u giving..,.

You're welcome. I can definitely understand being nervous, but try not to be. Depending on where you get a job, they may most likely train you. Just always remember to never stop learning and try to do your research when you're unsure about something. Good luck!

@@vanessaleriche I finished my course and passed on the first try. The course was not easy. However, if you pay attention to the guidelines and details, you should be fine. After finishing the course, it's been difficult to land a job with CPC-A, so I'm working on getting that removed

I am starting back billing. I've been out for about a year. Been reviewing your video to get back the basics. Excellent job. Would love to obtain more of your training so I can do my job better and more efficient.

I thought that doing medical billing you would share to be on the phone with insurance companies, but that's really not a problem. Thank you for your video it helped a lot.

Hi, so if someone didn't pay the health insurance bill, and got reported to the collection agency, will it affect his/her credit score?

If a patient doesn't pay their medical bill and the provider sends their account to a collection agency, it does have an adverse effect on the patients credit report.

You should know the basics like addition, subtraction, multiplication and percentages. If you're not good with these I won't automatically count you out, but you may not like your job very much or make more errors.
