Please do not side onto one. The children deserve much more than that, but the history does say that the land did belong to the Jews. I’m not saying that Palestine must be conquered by the Israelis but they did fire missiles which began the conflict, and the Israel side also suffer casualties. The Israelis are not targeting the civilians, but they have to bomb to stop casualties from their side, which you would understand because the IDF would want to maintain military superiority considering the fact that they have not a lot of troops, and want to defend their own land and prevent attacks from other militant groups. Please stop calling them occupiers and treat each side equally because you must understand how the conflict started. It wasn’t because of the Palestinians nor the Israelis but the former governments that separated them, such as the British Empire and the Romans, which is a quite complicated topic.
