Great video - you can see the three main differences - faster pace = longer strides, upper body movement/synchronization for more power and head placement is higher. after 5 months of winter training, running my first marathon in 3 days and I've gone from 6:30 to 5:10 pace. The steps are longer when you increase the speed, not the opposite I mean, look at the length, he increases it when he goes faster, a common rookie mistake is to try to increase the length of your strides to go faster, so you end up running like 140 strides per minute when you should aim for around 180 (I committed this mistake myself😂) No I always try to go around 180, still I only can maintain 2:10 pace for 200m haha
@ollierobertson-kurd
