I'm about 35 days post transplant. And like you said it's only as we are in the middle of whatever degree of the post transplant normal or abnormal effects and side effects that we can finally start to begin to understand the complexities. Personally BK virus had been painfully persistent regarding urinary tract and other GI issues. What was surprising to me is BK effects are normal and it's not that they are concerned with the virus as much as managing symptoms.... I was going to write a better response here but I wanted to thank you for such a great exposition of what you went through. It has been soooo informative and encouraging. What a ride huh? I'm curious what were your donor to host compatability percentages? I'm very fortunate in that my brother and I were 100%. That in my layman's mind means maybe I will get a little more luck on GvHd than done others. This BK is killing me though. Does diet affect the symptoms of that.
