What Did You Buy? Toyota A750- JUNK eBay "Rebuilt" Valve Body

Toyota Tacoma A750 valve body was sent to us for a modification and rebuild service.
As it turns out, this valve body wasn't out of their vehicle, it was one that they had purchased from an eBay seller who called this pile of junk "rebuilt". This unit certainly would have had a torque converter shudder, code P2757 and other issues, had we not addressed them.
This video shows how a valve body rebuild really gets done!
As well as rebuilding the valve body, our modification provides firmer shifts, increased transmission power handling ability and can fix / prevent / aid with P2714 Pressure control solenoid 'D' performance/stuck off P0756 shift solenoid 'B' performance code P0740, P0741, P2757 and torque converter clutch slip, shudder, torque converter malfunction and torque converter clutch circuit or stuck off codes, It is extremely beneficial for supercharged and heavy duty/towing use.

You guys should do a teardown on an A750F transmission! Would be super helpful!

I’m working on an A761 and will produce a teardown video in the near future, they are pretty similar
My A760e is fine at 210000kms but for some reason I'd love to rebuild a valve body, looks like fun.
Hey John we spoke on the phone Thursday 1/4/24, this is my valve body in your video. I just want to let people know that this chinese rebuild came with solenoids that DID NOT MATCH my wiring harness. So we do run a high risk of fitment and QC issues with these products. Very Glad I had you go through it. Great Work and Thanks for all your Help John!!!

Awesome video! I can’t find where the guide tools are for the reamers. Do you have a link to the tool by chance or are they tools a local shop might have?

A750e I have drives in reverse and neutral. Is this a common issue? Someone told me b1 and c1 possibly welded together. What are your thoughts and what should I look for to test. Not an expert but I have rebuilt a few transmissions.

@@antoniobarber8650 I’m impressed, sadly you are absolutely correct about having a welded clutch pack. I definitely see that particular failure on occasion in these transmissions⚙️
