Keep in mind that by that time the concentration camps were still unknown and if Wilhelm was disgusted by the racist policies of the Reich then, one can only imagine how devastated and angry he would have been at the fact that millions of Jewish citizens of Germany were physically exterminated. Wilhelm himself was a little anti-Semitic, but this never turned into a coherent state policy - he simply did not like Jews, but recognized their right to live in Germany and respected their contribution to the development of the country.

Before WWI, the German Empire was leading the world in technology, and science, and military power. Germans were also a very religious people, something I admire about them. The end of WWI gave way to extremism that has changed our world for the worse. If anyone is to be blamed for the problems of today, blame the Entente powers.

Wilhelm Il, who had abdicated the throne in 1918 and was living in exile in the Netherlands, met Hitler once in 1931, before Hitler became Chancellor of Germany. The meeting was part of Hitler's efforts to gain the support of conservative and nationalist elements in Germany. Wilhelm II was reportedly impressed by Hitler, but their interactions were limited and did not lead to any significant political alliance.

He‘s a good example of historical people not being one dimensional enough to categorize them simply as Good/Bad in most cases. yes he disliked hitler a lot. But he also started the 1. war in the form it happened with no real need for it. Although the Austrians technically started it with germany as the big ally on day one, it was the german kaiser that convinced the austrian one to do so. Both their parliaments begged them bit to do it since it was clear how much such a war would cost everyone and Bismark‘s work to keep peace in europe was not forgotten by the plolititians yet. But the two rulers wanted glory and had the romantized vision of war as a heros saga in their mind. That compared to great advancements in military technology they thought would make their next war basically unloosable even tho everyone else had the same was what made them jump at the very forst oportunity. It is worth mentioning that europe would have errupted into war at some other point soon as it is. But a lot of things would have been different like all of the soviet revolts likely not happening without lenin not being smuggled back in at the time he was cause Germany wouldn‘t have needed him to stirr civil unrest at this time. Either way he was not a good man himself. And that he disliked an even worse man later in life doesn‘t make him a good man alone
