Filmed in August 2023, not July as it says in the titles! 😮
If you ever go here, you absolutely have to see the fairy glen. I have been there many times before, and it never gets old.

Thanks, we did go many years ago.
I know what Jenny means about the ‘boom’ from the waves. It kept me awake. Sadly we had high winds and rain when we stayed at Rosemarkie so didn’t walk down to the Point to see the dolphins
Wow - looks gorgeous. The good weather really helps too. Glad Jenny got her fish n chips. 😋What a treat to see the dolphins 🐬
How lucky to see dolphins so close. Jenny's battered fish was huge....I bet it was yummy too. And I did chuckle at her giving you a 'telling off' at the beginning of the video😂 so sad that so many places were closed or demolished but at least you still have your wonderful memories ❤
Weather looking better than here right now having thunderstorms that were not on the forcast 😂That was so good seeing the dolphins, when we were on the East coast same time has this video maybe they were doing a boat trip out to see them on the Yorkshire Bell

Yes, we are at home now, we had a terrific thunderstorm last night, the M57 at switch island was flooded.
If you had turned left after you crossed the bridge, it’s a very pleasant woodland walk called the Fairy Glen. It takes you up to some lovely waterfalls. Next time…!

Thanks for watching. It was quite exciting to catch sight of them!
Glad you saw the dolphins! I loved the sound of the sea at night, sent me off to sleep!
Yes when we had the motorhome nice up round there think one have get motorhome get back of up that way .
It strikes me how well kept,Rosemarkie looks. In my area of Scotland, the streets aren’t as tidy as that and fly tipping in the countryside is a big problem. I suspect that the area you’re in has a more efficient Local Authority, than we have. The electric bike is a great thing for getting around on,Bob. I’ve got one and it’s extremely useful for climbing the hills on the local country roads. I wouldn’t manage now,with an ordinary bike ! Fortrose Cathedral looks interesting ,an old religious building with a lot of history to it. I enjoy looking at old historical buildings and have visited several, over the years. This was a very interesting vlog,many thanks.

Illegal dumping of rubbish.
We are thoroughly enjoying these Videos Bob . Thankyou so much for all the information, As newbies it's giving us so many ideas . We did worry about how one disposes of one's grey waste when that facility isn't available???
@BobEarnshawMoHo

First thing to say is most Motorhomes have a waste tank, which would be OK for a couple of days. The site does have facilities for disposing of grey water, gust no drive over grate. We use a Wastemaster, but a small bucket would do, something you could put underneath. Suggest you wa ch my 'new to motorhomes' series - kzread.info/head/PLUi3rqw12j2qG1jj3YHnzfoyvb7zwVjV4

That fish was rather large!
Great that you saw dolphins, it’s a pity Jenny didn’t see them too, lucky you. I think it nice to just go with the flow and get lost as sometimes you find the nicest things that way. I’ve throughly loved this tour of yours, one of your best.👍👍

Good to hear that. At least we haven't got a rotten cold on this Scottish trip.
Lovely area & we got lucky too 🐬 at Chanonry Point after many many years of never getting a glimpse!😂 It was us that added the laundry at Muir of Orde to SFS ☺️ Thanks for sharing, Em 💜

Thanks for that. It was very handy, pitching up at the laundry!
Thanks for taking us along with you we love this area . Glad you saw the dolphins and the wonderful Cathederal We always enjoy to visit Rosemarkie the beach is lovely and the walk to the Fairy Glen to see the waterfalls is really nice although it can be a bit difficult underfoot in the wet . When you reached that old Pub if you had of turned left it would have taken you the the RSPB Fairy Glen so if you didn't find it this time maybe add it to your list for next time. Take care Teddy :)
We love Rosemarkie. Went last year and had a pitch right on the edge of the beach. Perfect for our little dog who adores the beach. Looks like you have done a very similar tour to ours last year but in the opposite direction ❤
What a lovely site and village. The views of the Firth are stunning, and a unique place to park-up. Enjoyed your video immensely, as always.

Thank you
There is a lovely walk up through the woods following the river & at the end are a series of waterfalls. Also a good walk along the beach to the cave & then back slong a grass footpath back into rosemarkie. We are already booked in for next year it's one of the best sites i think. We saw 2 dolphins last year at Channory point.

We were planning on going back, but didn't get round to it 😔
Are you sure that’s not a dolphin in with those chips 🤣 Another lovely site but tricky without a moho service point. We carry a small collapsible bucket and a watering can but it’s a bit of a faff. Great place for a bike ride again Bob 🚴♂️💙

Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy. Reqlly enjoyed your Scottish tour and given us some thought for next year. We finally get our new motorhome in September as its just arrived at the dealers. We are very excited. Could I ask a question? I have gone back on your past videos in relation to getting away at new year to avoid the fireworks. We have little westie, and she is terrified of them. We are going to go up to the lakes to get out the way. I know we can't 100% say we won't hear any, but hopefully less I hope. Could you recommend a site you stay on in the lakes? I won't hold you responsible if there are fireworks as its luck of the draw. Just though with your knowledge, you may be able to point us in the right direction. Keep up the great videos. Kind regards Pete

We’ve stayed at Englethwaite Hall for Halloween but the site closes before Bonfire Night. For New Year we either go to Troutbeck Head or Meathop Fell. Last year at Meathop Fell we only heard faint fireworks in the distances.

😊 Sorry, my accent, it should be Unleaded Petrol (Gasoline in the US). It was petrol after the addition of lead was banned in the 1980's
I am from the USA but have been in a military family all my life so can you tell me what a bank holiday is
@BobEarnshawMoHo

It's a public holiday in the UK. Bank holidays originated in the UK in 1871, when banks and financial institutions would take days off. Everyone else started joining in. Usually our Bank Holidays are in the Spring, August, Easter and Christmas.
Boy I am interested to know if you were in the military or if nor it doesn't matter I love your chanel I am a USA soldier from birth to retirement but I congratulations
