Wonderfully said brother Jennings, it goes to show me that Jesus Christ was and is the same yesterday, today and for ever. Mercy and truth are met together, and righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Psalms 85:10 KJV. But thou Oh Lord art a God full of compassion and gracious, longsuffering, and plentious in mercy and truth. Psalms 86:15 KJV. Amen Thank you brother and God bless you.🙏💓🔥

This is the scripture in the new testament that tells of the two sticks prophesied to be brought back together into one stick. John 10:14-16 " I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, 15 even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd."

Hooooey I get it. This is why we need to have a big picture hebraic perspective. Understanding these idioms are so important to understanding the old Covenant in respect to the new. Thank you so much brother Jennings

There´s many thoughts coming out of this story. When they brought the woman to Jesus and accused her of adultery, ... they messed with the wrong man. They who accused her, went away quilty and the woman who was accused, went away completely forgiven. The consequences was that they who messed with Jesus, would not forget and neither would the woman. Henceforth they were the enemies of Jesus and henceforth the woman was the person who loved Jesus. It seems to me that the woman in the episode is the same woman as in Luke 7:47. "Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little." Yes, what a wonderful Saviour and what a wonderful story. Thank you Charles for sharing it.

This is just so fantastic and beautiful. Many years ago (I'm 67 now) a HRM pastor once said when asked what Jesus had wrote on the ground, told everyone that Jesus 'probably' was writing down the sins of all the men there, and they were ashamed of their own sins and one by one , left the scene. I am ashamed , looking back , how this pastor didn't know what he was talking about . But ,as you have shown us Pastor Jennings, there was so much more to it than that ! You brought it out beautifully backing it up with scripture. Jesus was all, the high priest, our Husband , Messiah and ...HE IS OUR COMING KING !!!! Thank you for this excellent study.

I always assumed that Jesus was writing the sins of the accusers(which only he could know) but your study has completed the full circumstance, that only a pharasi that studied, would grasp that concept

Nothing, all the earliest manuscripts don’t contain this section of text. New later copies added the story in, it wasn’t in the originals. This is not conspiracy, it’s a common understanding from both Christian and secular academia.

I believe Jesus was not writing anything in particular as much as he was seeking God's direction in prayer. The writing was just buying him time till he knew how to respond when God gave him the right thing to say. Almost how a person may scribble while thinking.

How can Jesus be the husband when He Himself says He is our Brother? It was God that divorced Israel and Jesus is always referred to as the Son of man or the Son of God.

”And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.“ ‭‭Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us. ”Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.“ ‭‭John‬ ‭20‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭ He called himself the bridegroom, and his own disciple called Him God. Christ is the spirit of life, truth, and love, and is capable of holding many titles, but most importantly: Almighty God.

If Jesus is not the husband YHWH, the sacrifice would not be sufficient, but would be a blasphemy. Should a Son die for his Mother? God had to die to purchase and redeem the Israelites back to Him. He is both the Son and the Father. That's why he also calls us brothers. Try meditating on that, and ask Jesus to reveal this truth to you.

The man is supposed to be stoned with her so they were violating the law by letting the man off not bringing him to punishment for there accusations He regathered us to himself by sending his son Jesus Christ to reestablish us by adoption through Jesus Christ now calling us sons of god never not once does it say we were remarried to god after the divorce. It seems like your trying to convince yourself most of the time that Jesus is god because the scriptures make it clear he’s. Not

Sorry. I was the one that gave the thumbs up but didn't read your whole comment. I took it off. There is plenty of proof it was a marriage in scripture. He came to save His wife. This wife's seed is the ones to spread the hope of the Kingdom. He chose her to show through History not just faith heroes but mostly our failures in which He did not deal kindly with. What shall He do with those who would not hear and obey that are not His? He scourges every son whom He receives. You should search out a matter first before pronouncing judgement on whether it is true or not. I suggest you read Pastor Peter J Peters book The Greatest Love Story Never Told. It will show the scriptures to back this up. Benefits from a non-Israelite that complies with Christ order is they will be blessed also. But the message is to all to repent or perish. Why did Christ say I came for the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel? Because He keeps His promises that are never made null and void even to a covenant made. The promise is separate from the covenant (Galatians 3). God does not break promises and is without sin. So to keep the promises made to Abraham but not to disobey His own law to take back the harlot (divorced Israel), then He had this glorious plan to send His son, Jesus the Christ to die and be raised in new life and His host (bride) died in the watery grave of baptism to be washed in a new life as a virgin. Praise be the Lord! Others can have part in a blessing according to Matthew 13:38 & drop on down to verse 44. The field is the world. He does not redeem what is His already. The earth is His and all it contains. There is scripture that teaches that and rightfully so sense God created it all. So it can't mean buying the earth, like some propose. Also some choose the definition for cosmo in the Greek of "order". Yes, in many places it is in reference to the order of a Kingdom whether it be spiritual Babylon or the only good Kingdom of Christ. But here in this scripture it does not make sense. Why would Christ buy Himself back. He is the Kingdom, the Word of God as we are taught in John 1:1. He came to buy His bride back (redeem) while He buys the world to do it. Many words have more than one meaning in ancient times as they do now and Strongs provides more than one definition for the greek word Cosmos. The other definition is "inhabitants". There are many scriptures in the old testament that prophecy that His would be sent out or hidden in the four corners of the earth. I have seen such scriptures and are sure they are still there. In the New testament it talks about us (Israel) being regathered from the four corners of the earth. Now look at the story again in Matthew 13. A wife is to be loved like a treasure. The field is the world. The man is Christ. He gave His life for the Bride to be able to be with God. He buys the World in the process. What race of people spread Christianity over all the four corners of the earth? Easy question to answer. If it wasn't His love for His wife, no one could have hope or a single blessing. Consider who receives the priesthood government order to carry out with Christ in this great new age to come in Romans 9. What is the marriage feast about in Matthew 22? What relationships did God use in Ephesians 5: 22-33 to describe the relationship His people were to have with Him? I would suggest to you to buy the oil as the wise virgins did verses how too late it was for the foolish virgins in Matthew 25. I believe I left enough bread crumbs to question yourself on whether you were orginally right. Could it be that you don't know all? It is the humble (teachable- His Way, not my way) that shall inherit the earth. Psalms 37:11-13 "But the humble shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. 13 The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming." May the Lord Jesus Christ Bless those who are His and those who will commit to Him. Praise be the Lord Jesus Christ.
