Definitely one of the best end results ever. They knew Scooby and Courage legit can't die due to their insane toon force so they decided to end it with a friendship between them and kill off Eustace instead (he was the crux of this conflict in the first place lol)

For me the first half was okay, but this second half has been awesome and the second half (starting with Bill v Discord) we had NO Marvel or DC where we had an overall four episodes in the first 8 consisting of Marvel and DC.

So far I gotta say, this might me new favorite episode of Death Battle. Not just Season 10, but the series. It was hilarious, well done, well animated, and we got an outcome that was very satisfying to see. I mean, Eustace dies all the time, but it doesn't make it any less satisfying Also gotta love how they showed Finn, Jake, Mordecai, and Rigby in this episode. (Finn and Jake when talking about how loyal dogs are and Mordecai and Rigby in the bit with Boomstick's mom....Muscle Man was also there for obvious reasons.....you know who ELSE was there? MY MOM!

With the Doctor, they're probably going to use the most recent doctor I'm guessing like they did with Captain Falcon, but every doctor scales to eachother, they have the same memories and abilities, so if one doctor did something absurd, the next doctor will know it and will know how to exactly replicate it and do more with it, so it'll be a mesh of every doctor in 1 character and it's accurate to the lore

The funny thing is that the most recent Doctor is just The 10th Doctor again, who just happens to be the most popular version. It's like when they had kid Ben use Alien x, but this time they have an excuse for a younger version of a character to do stuff he got later on.

And given how there’s been several instances of multiple incarnations of The Doctor who’ve crossed paths & worked together towards a shared goal, there’s a chance that Rick’s gonna have to deal with several, if not ALL, known incarnations of The Doctor (1-8, War & 9-14).

Loved this episode and I'm happy it ended with a tie and Eustace's latest death as he had it coming for scaring Scooby and Courage. Also The Doctor vs. Rick Sanchez yeah that's going to be a wild, wacky battle where anything and possibly everything can happen.

Is everyone asking themselves, how and why these childhood fan favourite cartoon dogs are somehow scare at everything yet have feats and abilities that are useful and broken?! Anyway this is my favourite episode to date. The in - characters, voice acting, soundtrack and the ending was awesome.10/10 for me.

Scooby vs Courage actually surprised me in multiple ways. It is one of the few Deathbattles that has •Remained true to both characters •Shown a lot of passion for both characters •given us 2 equally powerful & absurdly broken characters •Given us a draw that is satisfying & completely true to how the two would interact. I absolutely loved this episode & This fight gives Bill vs Discord competition for the best episode this season. Eustace getting his just desserts is the cherry on top. I liked Scooby a lot when I was a kid, and I grew up with Courage, so I was rooting for the cowardly dog from Nowhere, but I’m completely content with this match ending in a draw. That also brings up a question going forward. How will Deathbattle handle other matchups that involve heavy use of toon force? That might be a legitimate concern if we get 2 characters who have a strong mastery of Toon Force who lack a means to permanently put down the other. I hope that’s not a major issue in future episodes that utilize those types of characters.

I LOVED this episode. My favorite gag was the "Courage voice actor" one and my favorite non-gag moment was Asura's Wrath reference Scooby VS Courage's scream.

The doctor is the same person but can regenerate their form whenever they're close to death so this is a situation where compositing them together makes sense because it's the same guy.

This fight may be a draw but Everyone wins in my eyes Well except for Eustace that is...

For Rick vs The Doctor, they’re likely doing it now because it lines up with the Doctor’s 60th anniversary. Each incarnation of The Doctor is intrinsically the same person, they’re not alternate selves or parallel realities but the same guy (sometimes girl) changing their physical form due to reincarnation.

We did it. We’ve reached PEAK FICTION STATUS AGAIN. And Courage and MY BOI SCOOBY survived their doggy duel and live tot tell the tale. And if Rick vs Doctor Who also reaches PEAK FICTION, then this is the best season ever.

This was a fun matchup. Ideally I would like there to be no ties but there was no way to not get a tie so I'm cool with. Plus I'm a dog lover I don't like seeing dogs die. And Eustace finally got his comeuppance aftwr years of torturing Courage

I loved Courage so I can definitely recommend it. The scenes they used for Courage came straight from the show to like when Courage says a name, which it isn't. However, if you are a type of person that don't like to be scared then this isn't the show for u. Courage has terrified many over the years and had nightmares from the show.

28:45 I was also worried for a second that draws might become too common in toon force fights, and while I do still believe that they will become more common, upon reflection, I believe this to mostly be a special case. As they said in the notes, the crossover movie ensued that their physical stats were effectively equalized, so neither of them could just run circles around the other until they gave up, like what happened in Dragonborn VS Chosen Undead. They also mentioned in the notes that neither of them could destroy the other’s soul. Many cartoon characters can effect souls, and the addition of soul destroying abilities to either of the their arsenals would ensure said character’s victory. Lastly, neither of them could just remove the other from the fight entirely. Scooby almost had it with the chest of demons, but Courage could counter it with the dark matter meteor, removing that advantage. Ultimately, this fight truly was the perfect matchup, that neither character could actually win.

The idea of beating a cartoon character by destroying their souls is interesting. But, just by looking at what your average toon character can do I have a feeling that their souls getting destroyed is just an average day in being tortured for comedy.

@@jasonchiu272 I’m not saying that it doesn’t happen at all, everything’s happened at least a handful of times, but it’s at the very least significantly less common than having their bodies destroyed. Slapstick shenanigans tend not to delve very deep into the realm of the metaphysical after all.

After BillCord came out, I told my friend that I doubted that Death Battle would make an episode that surpassed/matched it in quality for a while with just how much passion and energy was put into it. That comment aged like milk. Well played Death Battle. Well played.

I never thought i'd hear the sentence "Maddie Ziegler is a universe-buster", but ya know what, that's on me.

This was the perfect showcase of how annoying and out of control KZread ads have gotten. Holy crap, right at the freaking pivotal moment of the battle, and they're going after ad blockers to shove them down everyone's throats unabated. The one thing Scooby and Courage's Toon Forces couldn't prevent.

I literally had the SAME sentiment regarding toon force users going forward lol (but I don't think they will. This was an exception) Anyways, this fight was amazing! As someone who grew up with Courage more than Scooby, this kept a smile on my face the whole way through

Imagine if that ad break wasn't an ad break and was an actual part of the video to fill in for the technical difficulties due to the epicness overload of this fight.

10/10 episode! Best way this episode could've ended.

This is definitely one of the best episodes this season, the fact there's a Asura's wrath reference is just hilarious. Incredibly funny, well animated, amazing analyses, and a banger track, this episode is kinda perfect. It's not my favorite so far this season because of my lack of attachment to the characters, but it may be the best one so far. 10/10, I'm glad so many people got their childhoods fulfilled by this.

This and Bill VS Discord have absolutely blown me out of the water, I'm glad you liked it a lot too 👍 I doubt the next one will be as good but I like both series so I'm excited.

The ending was to be expected, considering these two are both Spongebob-level indestructible.

This month is the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who which will have the release of new special episodes that have been super hyped up since last year. So it's actually a great moment for Rick vs The Doctor to happen.

I'm really glad that Scooby-Doo didn't die on Death Battle because I grew on his shows and movies

that was lot of fun 9/10 the characters: i have never though scooby have hardcore toon force and courage hardcore screaming and the jokes were funny too and both can just come back from nothing track: i think the track was really good i enjoyed it the fight: the was awesome fight i love the scared sides and see the computer was funny and wize and boomstick and seeing the kaiju scooby was a amazing and courage screaming was so good and seeing Eustace Bagge dyeing was funny conclusion: :scooby and courage wins and Eustace Bagge loses next time: i think this will be interesting fight

DEATH BATLLE Idea: Zentisu VS Luigi! Green and Yellow!

Now that I think about it, how strong do you need to be to punch someone through time by pure strength? I feel like the dance feat isn’t really as much as many people think it would given it didn’t help him win since stats are irrelevant to characters like this.

Samurai Jack is the first Adult Swim character to be in Death Battle. Some would argue he's Cartoon Network, but he's both.

This episode is beautiful. Sorry Bill Cipher VS Discord, but this one just outclassed you by a little bit. Next Time is fine enough, just curious how they’ll use The Doctor let alone if Rick will be composited.

this is One Awesome DEATH BATTLE as someone Who loves Both Scooby-Doo and Courage the Cowardly Dog this was an Amazing DEATH BATTLE and despite there Toon Force and they can't Die Which I'm all for that And they both Won and are Friends (Totally Against Dog Murders) at least Eustace got what deserves to Rot in Hell in The Chest of Demons which does exist in Scooby-Doo lore

This fight is better than any other Scooby-Doo movie

This episode surpassed Bill Cipher Vs Discord as the highest rated episode on IMDB.

This episode was amazing because of the ending I loved it

I one thing I thought would give Courage the win was that he was basically immortal compared to Scooby because I remember on Zombie Island movie that Scooby's and Shaggy's life essence was being absorbed by the main villains in the movie, which would've ended them/zombify them. The newer shows definitely helped Scooby catch up to Courage in the end though. If this was done early 2000s Courage wins hands down. Regardless I would consider this episode as our yearly "joke" battle of the year as we tend to get one every year. If Wile (My favorite LT) v Tom (My favorite cartoon ever) does happen, I could see a victor cause Tom has actually succeeded in getting/outsmarted Jerry and Spike where Wile's inventions blow up in his face EVERY TIME regardless. He has never succeeded in his sad life.

I think Wile E vs Tom would end with Wile E attempting to pour his looney DNA disassembler potion from Tiny Toons Looniversity, which would make Tom vulnerable to a deadly blow... only for Wile E to step on a mousetrap and accidentally pour the potion on himself, giving Tom the opportunity to cut off all his limbs, crush them and then blow them to smithereens.

Can Courage beat Bill Cipher? Given regeneration and the dimensions thing Rick has going, I think they’re gonna use multiple of both of them. You do bring up a good point: Continuing cartoons. Unless you pit them against limits, how can a winner be determined? It works a few times to go inconclusive ala friendships or something, but eventually, how do you quantify the unquantifiable? Also, was that door a reference to Columbo vs Light?

One of Courage's owners who constantly scares and abuses him. And subsequently dies/gets injured in almost every episode

This season was such a improvment compared tó season 8 and 5 this was Miles better
