Thank you Ashley ! I truly appreciate it
I always tend to watch videos such as this to keep my options open for college. I am going to the Teen Extreme summer camp this year (second year of going to this) and I am going into my Sophomore year of High School. PCC is definitely a top option, I'm also looking into Bob Jones University. I like to see the details of normal schedules and stuff, as summer camp is not a good way of seeing how things work on a normal basis. Thanks for uploading this, and giving us a glimpse of a standard day.

Hey, I’ve gone to both teen extreme and the academic camps, If youre interested in getting a little better grasp on teachers and classes, i so recommend the academic camps there! There’s tons to choose from, I’m graduating this year and going to my last one before college; I usually do history. We wake up and go to classes most of the week, but that depends on what camp you go to!

I also went to Teen extreme and PCC is also at the top of my list for colleges. Yeah summer camp is way different then college because you only see the fun side of the college and not the actual school side of the college.
Your videos are so high quality I hope your channel grows ✨👏🏽

Joshua, your videos are very well-produced and fun to watch. I was so blessed to gain several Indonesian friends (the best) while attending/working there, and I love your positive but honest look at PCC college life. Best wishes for a strong finish as you look toward graduation! -alum 2004

Hey Mark thank you for the positive and honest feedback ! im glad you enjoyed the videos. I heard back then the majority of international students were Indonesians too. at some point the second most well-known language (aside from English of course) was Bahasa Indonesia. is that true ? 👀
Just found your channel. This is fun to watch. I graduated in '11, and so much has changed and improved. Very cool.

Almost a different college from when we graduated in 2014. Makes me chuckle to see how students are still finding ways around the rules, like how we did when we went there. Survival tactics. Since hearing about all the changes Shoemaker has made, I might actually recommend it to graduating teenagers now.

I went here for teen Extreme which is a summer camp for teens at PCC. When it comes to dining (Four Winds, Vairsty, And Grab n go) we were only allowed to go to four winds. I was only there for a week so I only got 1 week of food but it was not the best. Most of the food was not seasoned. I also went to the chick fla which was really good.
Wow! Varsity “Circus” has definitely tamed down their color palate in the last 15 yrs! 😂 Also, grab and go didn’t exist when I was there. Love that! And hot pots were the only “cooking appliance” allowed in the dorms and you could only use them in certain areas (not in your room). All in all, I loved the food there. Lots of variety especially at Four Winds (which was brand new when I attended).

I’ll be the “back in my day” guy just to regale you with stories of old timey PCC. Once, Varsity Commons was the ONLY dining option and you were only allowed one serving of whatever they were serving…and it was generally pretty awful. Maybe pork chops one night and the next night would be some spaghetti slop. We ate in shifts and had assigned tables with complete strangers. Your drink options were unsweetened tea and ice water. It was pretty much a nightmare. Sunday nights after church we got some sort of burrito wrap or chicken sandwich that was more brown bag fast food style, but if you got caught trying to take more than one sandwich (and yes, they were watching), you would get 50 demerits for theft. Seriously. Taking an extra chicken sandwich was treated the same as stealing someone’s wallet. We were starving so we took the chance anyway. I became an expert at stuffing bean burritos up my coat sleeves. Again, I’ll be that guy….you have no idea how easy you have it, my friend! My PCC experience could be summed up in one word: hunger.

wow.. thanks for sharing sir. Yeah, I have heard a couple of those things as well and many of the alumni have told me that what PCC has for us current students now is NOTHING compared to what the rules were couple of years back. you should totally come and visit the campus and see how it's like here now.
