When you lose logic and sense, you will be near to nirvana, but you will fail to grasp the beauty of life as well. Take your fate, wrestle with it, say to it: This is what is here now, but i can do it. I am strong. And then observe the love that will come and help you achieve anything you want (which hopefully benefits the whole) A spiritual friend.

Looooved this video. My father, who has passed away, used to play classical music all day ( he worked at home) And for many many years that's all we listened to. Without knowing it I kinda learned to listen to merely the sounds of music, regardless of the words and their meaning. Which is quite an experience for me.. Sounds are universal... I just realized this is 'literal', and it's just beautiful. Thank you Sadhguru, for being such a medium of such messages. Much love, peace and joy from México ^_^

you know what that's why Sadhguru said 'some people want just the meaning' Simply because some people can't understand the essence of it they take it literally to give it a distinctive meaning. Sadhguru referred to the aid of image of God we're taking to achieve that frequency not literally the God itself. Once you are engrossed in the mantra chanting you need to focus on sound and the feeling it creates within you and not constantly poke & disturb yourself to find the 'meaning'

Since then I want to listen to Shambho every morn, every night and during the day if can find time. It has taken over from Isha Kriya meditation which I did ever day for many week's. I still feel in Love with Shambho, like an addiction. But an addiction that seems to be making me more accepting, more calm, so I will stay with it, as long as it continues touching me. Thank you so much.. your videos help me so much.. the stillness of just being. When I first started listening and chanting mantra, I had an overwhelming need to not look up what they meant. As if I didn't need to know what the words were saying. It was just the sounds like you said.. it's truly beautiful that my intuition was right all along. I am now going to always listen to what is within the deepest reaches of my being..

🙏🏽Chanting mantra & periods of silence have purified and elevated more than I could have imagined. More clarity and realizations than any recreational pharmaceuticals could bring. With the help of these practices, I have been able to drop those self-destructive habits. 🙏🏽🧘🏻‍♀️🕉

Sometimes when I imagine the sound of a mantra I experience what the Buddhists call Pīti. I feel a sudden wave of warmth followed by goosebumps from head to toe. Sometimes it's wave after wave. It doesn't always happen but when it does it's enjoyable.

It's so true. When we think of it, tree doesn't call itself a tree, same with anything. We call tiger as a tiger but it doesn't call itself as tiger. All the meanings are created by mind. But when utter a sound, that strucks a vibration, that's why right sound is important....

Thank you so much for this enlightning speech. A few years ago I stumbled upon videos from the Hungarian artist Istvan Sky. He does a very fascinating work with both meaningless sounds (with healing intention and properties) and songs with lyrics. I emulate some of his mantras and doing that has given me many, many precious, peaceful moments. This vídeo confirms what I have been feeling by intuition. Much gratitude, dear Sadhguru.

Thanks Sadhguru. I needed to re-hear this today. :D Even with my underlying need to share my songs with humanity, I will lay this desire aside. Effective immediately, I promise to make simple Humming and Aaaa'ing sounds with my tanpura box daily, and whenever I visit my recently chosen birch tree friend in the local park, I will make some sounds for her to see what happens for us.
