Uttarakhand Forest Fire: The forest department has been put into action as the fire continues to rage in different parts of Uttarakhand. Speaking to the Indian Express, Swapnil Aniruddha, DFO said that a farmer had tried to burn the stubble and that got transmitted into the forest. "There are around 30 active fires throughout the district. There are 6 more teams on the spot to douse the fire in one range," said Aniruddha.

Forest fires/management is the most neglected aspect of forestry. This aspect of forestry needs top priority in the changing times of climate change
Hope the Uttarakhand government supplies protective masks and goggles to the forest fire fighters , to reduce damage to their eyes and lungs and thus making them work more efficiently and healthily.
Uttarakhand government should be sued for negligence act in protection of forests and environment damage.

Do you think that the local government would pay any chance of attention on this topic. As a muslim im sorry to say but the condition of dehradun capitalis becoming alot worse since past history. Government is good for only blaming muslims and demolishing holy sites. The real bhagwa terrorists.

The people you see are government workers and it is hard for them to work in such terrain. While the government should be on high alert the legislature is to be blamed as there have been many petitions related to forest fires in the past which have been neglected till now.
