Honestly, if people stopped using cars when they didn't need them and rode a bike instead (when it's not too far away) then we would help climate change so much, and obesity levels will drop faster than my grades. There should be laws on how senselessly we use our vehicles.

Why don't we just hold mandatory exercise session in the town square every morning, or require shifts of labor intensive farming from everyone through the week. That sounds about as intensive as dictating what and when you can drive. BTW 3rd world nations burn the rainforest and create 5 of the 30 billion tons of CO2 globally emitted annually. Forget the cars, just get them some fertilizer and mosquito nets.

Trust. Throughout my childhood I would walk home from school for about an hour (2.5 miles) and now I’m walking to and from work everyday (7 miles in total). People r shocked when they hear how far I walk but honestly, an hour walk with music in the background to calm and relax the mind is amazing 👌🏽👌🏽

Ok, so plant trees. Do what I say below: And everyone else too, so for everyone who wants to do there part for the world with out actually doing any more then you are now. Or if you just want to do your part, then there is a browser called Ecosia, that does the same as google but for every 45 serches they plant a tree in a place that really needs it. I've planted 12 trees and I've only been there for a week. They have an amazing history of helping people and they already planted 50 mil trees as of this week. So please switch from your web browser to Ecosia so we can all help the environment! Or you know, just recycle. That too.

Well you would have to plant trees on an area as large as China to compense only 1% of the CO2-emissions of the USA, so planting trees is no bad idea but doesn't help very much

This is a huge issue and I wish people could take it more serious. I try to help the best, I walk to school and not drive I recycle or make something diffrent out of it. Please try and help our planet people!!!!

electric cars are better than gas powered cars but they are not the solution. The only solution is not driving at all if you can avoid it. and, obviously, stop flying across the country/world if you really wanna do something! Every flight emits more carbon than driving around with a car for a whole year!

Cowcopter Becuase weather is constantly changing, we can predict it according to our knowledge of what has led to what. The world will still exist after we all die, we'll just end up super heating the world, and it'll become stable again at some point way in the future. I don't see how you can see how it's caused by us when we burn stuff more then anything naturally

There are rules like that. Atleast were I live, but people still do it since there's rarly a policeofficer around to stop them. Also it wouldn't change much. The problem is that there is too much trash... Even in Germany were most people resycle, most of it is still shipped to other countrys to be burned. It's just crazy. We need less plastic! You don't need plastic around your food, toys, etc. There are better ways -better for our planet. Just look in a Shop and see how much plastic you see. It's just crazy. Why use plastic bottles if you could use refillable glas bottles? We need laws to stop big companys from using all that plastic!

The animal agriculture section creates more greenhouse gases than the transportation sector alone. It is the leading cause of rainforest deforestation. It uses the majority of the earth's fresh water. It uses about 40% of the earth's land (or something crazy like that). The list goes on and on. I'm honestly surprised he didn't go into more detail about this. But bottom line, you are helping the environment TREMENDOUSLY!!!! Keep doing you boo :)

I'm vegan and I gess that helps??😂 No seriously cutting down on flesh consumption helps, and not just with global warming, it helps with, heath, land, water, food, alot if stuff.

Every little thing helps! On Earth day, someone in my community went around with flyers letting everyone know about the recycling bins, what colors go with what materials and whatnot-- I didn't even know we had recycling available! My fiancee and I recycle literally everything we can now. Sometimes all it takes is a little nudge and reminder. We can do it.

I do. I am unable to get protien from a plant-based diet. Allergic to all beans, legumes. STOP TRYING TO BAN MEAT AND MAKE ME MISERABLE!!

OUR world is being ruined because of what we are doing to it EVERYONE needs to work together to help it not just one person. Now I’m not one to preach but we live here every single on one of us What we don’t realize is that if the world goes down we go with it The internet was made for people to be social and that is being ruined too with scams and other things I don’t know how to fix this but I can’t do it alone NONE of us can. kauske In fact, I was not believing as well 20 years ago. But I think there is enough evidence to say how fart cause global warming. Imo, it is very hard to define ORGANICs, also there are not enough evidence saying GMO food will cause health issue. But just saying be open mind, we can stay what we dont believe, others can still believe what they believe, until there are enough evidence to disprove or prove it, there are no right or wrong answer.

The cognitive dissonance is strong here... Veganism is one of the best ways to fight climate change, but we still laugh them cause I need to believe it's moral and healthy to keep eating animals.

instead of using plastic straws use bamboo ones that you can wash. you can also start using wooden forks. spoons, and knives when eating.

I’m sad that only one million people have watched this

i’ve asked my mom if i could walk to school more often, and i don’t use plastic very often. but when i do, i always make sure it is recycled. this summer, i want to go down to the beach to do a beach cleanup. i only eat meat when i go out to dinner. and if you think about it, saving the world isn’t hard at all. we just need people to realize what is happening to our earth, because recycling, not eating meat very often, walking, and not using plastic is not hard at all. today, we have more power than we ever had before, and that is social media. posting about it will encourage others to help. but also start doing. whenever you see a piece of trash, please pick it up.
