not sure they'd be your speed but I LOVE the her majesty's royal coven audiobooks!!! it is a trilogy by juno dawson (2 books out currently) and they are narrated by nicola coughlan (from derry girls and bridgerton) who does a *stellar* job tbh. it is multiple perspectives from a group of friends and at one point I thought there was more than one person narrating lol

The only book about food I can think of is Lessons in Chemistry, which makes me realise I also need more food books recs!

Oh I liked Like Water for Chocolate for a food book, or Fried Green Tomatoes ath the whistle stop cafe. Mastering the art of soviet cooking is a great non fic about food and cooking

I finished 4 books in july but didn't get a 3 in a row on the board 🤡 a food related book I have been meaning to read is small fires: an epic in the kitchen which I am pretty sure it's half memoir half essay collection and sounds delightful!!

I did not haha I gave it 2.5 stars. But the other book I read was a 4 star so I guess you win some you lose some haha
