It's not surprising apartment prices are so expensive in Tel Aviv since 70% of Israel's population lives in a small coastal strip in a 50KM radius around the city, but if you drive 30KM to the east to Shomron you can get a house for 1/2 the price.

this is so depressing. true, but very sad for millions of Jews outside Israel. Unless you have about ten times a million, or are an oligarch, then you can afford to live, then life has probably never been better. For the rest of us...🙄🙄

I understand what you're saying but there's more affordable cities in Israel, those prices are referring to the city of Tel Aviv, if you are looking to spend less money on a house you can definitely find prices that are closer to what you are willing to pay
