I have a Pixel 6 Pro and have had zero issues!

Just got my 6 Pro two days ago and I'm in love! Coming from a Pixel 3 and it's an upgrade in so many areas. Battery life is good but I know it'll even get better from here! Overall, an amazing phone that I easily recommend to other people

@@BuyersGuyd I'm really loving the telephoto. Getting some amazing shots with it and it's nice and detailed! Android 12 on the Pixel 3 was honestly great from my experiences. Didn't get any bugs and seemed to perform well. Only thing I will say about the 3 is that the battery life was subpar but the 6 Pro seems to be doing a much better job in that regard. Really happy with my purchase so far and I can't wait for Google to further optimize this phone!

I ordered it basically on release day and my provider delivered it in about 2 days. It'll definitely depend on where you've ordered it from. Everything's pretty messed up at the moment so could be delays

I have the regular Pixel 6 and it's bug free. And I think the fingerprint scanner is fairly fast. Good points that you made and I subscribed. I just got my phone yesterday and can't wait for adaptive battery to learn my usage patterns.

Completely agree, I have had the Pro since launch and have almost no bugs...an occasional random reboot, of something like that, but overall a solid phone

I too upgraded from my 3XL to the 6 pro and absolutely love it!!!!

Really good video. One thing that no one mentions in the pixel 6 pro review is the fade that happens on pixel launcher. When you have a dark wallpaper set and you set the brightness to maximum when your on the Home Screen there is a fade at the top of the screen. Google have said it’s a software feature but people on Reddit deny it’s existence

Just subscribed today. Enjoyed this video. I had the Pixel 3xl and loved it. Now I have the 6 pro and it's been fantastic, especially on 13. Weirdly, I do miss the back fingerprint reader a bit. :)

I haven't faced any bugs so far, even my twin has a Pixel 6 pro and there's been 0 issues so far.

Agree. I bought mine expecting to try it... but eventually return it because of the bugs I was hearing about. I ended up keeping the device and loving it. I do have a few small issues... but nothing like the horror stories I was seeing. Great phone overall.

Its a good phone overall. Only minor annoyances for me due to Android 12 for me. Fingerprint is reliable if you use the whole area and I don't mind the few ms slower speed. I did have trouble with the fingerprint scanner earlier but I noticed it was me not placing my finger properly as Pixel's scanner is a little smaller than my previous phone's. The other things were just getting used to Pixel android version for me as its my first Pixel. The only major gripe I have had for now is what you mentioned about the Wifi/Internet button in Android 12 and the other small gripe is that it gets slightly warm with usage. However, there's one positive with getting slightly warm is that it stays that way even when I game a lot unlike most phones which start burning up while gaming.

I've had nothing but a great experience with my Pixel 6 👍🏾

I loooove the tele! I think wide is more important out of the 2, especially since the pixel is so good with its zoom. But the tele still puts out some great shots.

Same here , fingerprint scanner is fine especially after Feb update. Never had any wifi issues or many of the others people talk about online. I have some small bugs during my ownership but after February update most all have been killed. Great phone and hopefully will just get better and better.

No issues with my Pixel 6 Pro either, and now that the Samsung S22 is out a lot of these reviewers are trying to throw shade at the Pixel now

the s22 ultra is not getting rave reviews either. most are saying it is not worth the upgrade.

i love this phone sooo much, the only "issue" is that slow fingerprint reader, but im kinda used to it since it's my first flagship phone and all my old phones had horrible fingerprint readers too lol

I remember when I had the Pixel 5, I went out and purchased the S21 Ultra because everyone overhyped it..what a mistake that was! I kept it the full 14 days before packing it back in the box and getting a full refund. It overheated 4x in the 14 days I had it, camera app was laaaaaggy as hell. I swapped my SIM card back into my Pixel 5 and waited for the Pixel 6 Pro. I love my 6 Pro, no bugs at all. This thing is a beast!

I abandoned Samsung flagship phones after being there for years. They're all overpriced and do not deliver the experience they're supposed to. The Pixel 6 isn't perfect either but is worth the money you pay and does all written on the tin!

I have a pixel 6 pro, I really haven't had any problems except the finger print reader , but it's has gotten a lot better with updates, the phone 🤳 takes great photos , it's a keeper!

2 day Pixel 6 owner. Graduating from the Pixel 2XL. So far so good, the thing I notice is the phone slows down now and and then and I have to clear open apps out. Not a big fan of the front fingerprint scan and find myself looking for the rear scanner out of habit. The swipe menu system is ok, still getting used to it. Photos are excellent.

My experience so far with my pixel 6 Pro is the same as yours essentially. Seems I have troubles with the messenger through Facebook at times. Also, the fingerprint sensor doesn't seem to work very well but I think I've narrowed it down. I think it's just the case cover so I may have to switch that out overall. I really love the phone though. Once again I will take it over an iPhone any day

Fair play and YMMV. However, I have regular crash, full lock-up, shutdown and reboot from trying only to take a single photo (a flagship device with the cameras being front and centre).

I ordered the Pixel 6 Pro and patiently waiting for it to arrive (takes longer in a combat zone), I’ll see how it goes. I think I will be more keen to see bugs the phone supposedly has since my daily driver is an iPhone and that platform is established, kinks worked out and such. That being said, I also have a $250 Motorola Stylus that runs ok, so if the P6P runs better than that I’ll be happy.

It's definitely all artificial sharpening. From a technical perspective it'd far worse because detail>sharpening but it's still impressive for a phone. I'll put some well lit outdoor scenes in the camera deep dive because that's when the p6p shines

I've had very little issues with my p6p. I'm sure the issues are very real for the users who post them, but you have to ignore all the "bug" threads on reddit if it doesn't apply to your experience.

No major issues, definitely enjoying the 6P.

I have my Pixel 6 (not Pro) since release. I only had problem with back camera until the first update, it wasn't working. Now everything is fine. I didn't had any other problems with it. It's great so far.

There is a bit of noise in low light on the preview but only when the stuff in frame is moving quite a bit. If still then it cleans up

I've just got mine Yesterday and have no issues at all. All this google bashing for nothing. The phone is sexy and Amazing expérience. The cameras 😍😍😍. Thank you for this excellent review 👍👍👍

Lol all the bashing was there to make the phone at least preforming fine as what you using now. Without those bashing, you Wil be full of bugs like using it the when It was just released.

As of Feb, a lot of the earlier critical issues have been fixed. So it's a lot better now than first launched. It's not perfect and Android 12 is still not fully polished. But these stuffs are minor for me. Plus, I've switched over to Android 13 preview, so my expectations are adjusted differently.

Maybe it's just me idk but my pixel 6 pro seems to be improving when compared to the first day I got it to now... All these weird issues that tech sites are running with because a single person post something on some forum somewhere and now it's gospel is ridiculous to me. I have yet to have these issues

curved designs are so good! i literally grew up with a Samsung S7 edge for 5 years and when I had a non-curved display phone (Samsung A12) while waiting for my p6p to come, the boxiness of flat displays felt so awkward in my hands. Phantom touches aren't so much a problem, esp compared to the S7 edge's (and even that wasn't a big problem then). There is a slippery feeling from the glass back and I think that's is a bigger con, but my phone case arrived before my phone and I didn't have to deal with that problem much. A clear phone case too to keep the great visor look. The fingerprint scanner isn't a problem at all if people just treat it properly knowing exactly that it's slow. So many content creators out there, even the famous ones, would touch the scanner, buT IT'S NOT AN ULTRASONIC FINGERPRINT SCANNER so don't treat it like one. It's very much reliable, just leave your finger there a bit longer is all. Also, never thought phone haptics could feel this great!! It's not the strongest, but it's the most welcoming and apt I have ever experienced. If anything, my only "problem" is the battery life. I was expecting just a bit more since the Samsung A12 apparently didn't need charging until 2 days after 👀still, my 6 pro gets by after a whole day of use, but anything to further lessen the 1 charge per day would be nice in the long run. I've been using Battery Guru and ACC and those are helping with battery life.

The Samsung S6 Edge was actually the first phone I had to sell to people haha. I never understood it. The curved display definitely feels better in the hand though yes. I probably should've mentioned that the p6p definitely needs a case but really that's every phone nowadays. Slippery as soap

@@BuyersGuyd aside from molding the physical shape when held, I like that it pseudo-hides the side bezels, giving you a more full view, especially when consuming content. Though, you didn't sound as negative as a lot of other reviewers out there. There's one way to say you prefer non-curved displays and another when people just straight-up say they hate it like?? If curved displays were that bad, I don't think newer phones would still be released with it. I mean notch designs came later than curved displays but guess which one is being phased out first

I have the 6 pro and so does my girlfriend. The bugs we encounter is a loud buzzing noise at times when using speakerphone dropped calls. In the past I had Bluetooth problems, but the Bluetooth issues and crashes stopped when I chose to install 12L beta. So main issues today are 2 I spoke of. The noise and dropped calls.

Now I've put a screen protector on that actually works with the fingerprint sensor I'm totally happy with my 6 pro . If u go into developer settings and turn off the animation scales it speeds up the print unlock. My Google assistant wouldn't work and it was app permission settings stopping it just enable all and your good to go

Yeah it is a really slow animation. From my slowmo tests it seemed like the animation was the same as the unlock speed making it feel twice as long as it needs to be. I might change mine too

Mines been bug free too. Just small gripes about Android 12 in general. I use MS launcher so I get new home and lock screen pictures from Bing daily.

@@BuyersGuyd I primarily used it because it was the only launcher with a "vertical scroll" for the home screen. Coming from a Windows phone, it was what I was used to and more natural to swipe up and down for the next page. Also has its little peaks here and there. Along with that, all my other devices(PC, Laptops) use Win 10/11 so it's all a seamless integration. And it's easier to use than Nova and all the others.

This video was a nice find as I'm still using a P3xl. I continue to debate getting a 6 Pro because of the generally bad word of mouth. And because while the 3 is now sunset phone, it's still running well for me. I'm certain to like the new lens options. One popular topic you didn't bring up is the size. Do you find the 6 Pro is hard to carry in a pocket?

I actually came from the 3XL myself. The original idea for this video was actually about the 3 year upgrade cycle from 3xl to p6p, maybe I should still make it? As for the size, the p6p is only 7mm taller than the 3xl and about the same width. I haven't noticed a size difference in pocket at all

Been using P6 since Nov 28, there were many bugs at 1st, such as jittery autorotation, overheating etc. Issues I still face today: Game mode only has balanced and powersave options, can't enable performance mode, not complaining just noticed, phone overheats while watching KZread sometimes, the yet to be released external dac support and the fix for wireless speeds. When they fix these, I'll be truly satisfied with my device.

What's the ambient temperature where you live? I live in 30c+ weather most of the time and I've had no overheating at all. Haven't seen it reported as an issue either

@@BuyersGuyd Same-ish weather conditions, though is a bit more humid here. Sometimes the phone reaches 37-40° C if on KZread a bit too long, don't know how much adaptive connectivity plays into this but I always have it turned on.

My Pixel 6 (non-pro) has been fully stable since I purchased it post-launch. I sincerely do not regret not having the pro version one bit, same performance and better usability for most people but the niche shutterbugs. I however like better my Pixel 4XL in a few regards, face recognition, squeeze and radar feature being the biggest. The radar feature made swipe gestures and full night vision possible, this was an unique feature that was not developed and should have been. Face recognition is infinitely more practical in everyday use. You just don't think about it.

I want to change my OnePlus Nord 2 because they get not really fast updates, I am still on security patch from Dec and Android 11, is the Google Pixel 6 Pro a good choice?

With the Nord 2 being a lower cost phone it might be better to wait and see how the Pixel 6a turns out. A lot of people prefer the a series after all

I've been enjoying mine so far, but I've been getting this issue where every time I get a pop-up notification, instead of just being a small gray bean in the top-middle of the screen, I get that _plus_ the entire rest of the screen gets covered with a black layer, and won't go away until I clear the notification. I feel like there's some transparency layer not being applied properly. This has been happening since launch.

Interesting. Maybe try updating the phone to the latest and then doing a hard reset by holding down the screenshot command for about 30 seconds

The only bugs I've had with my Pixel 6 are chrome related, and happen as well in my tablet S7+ and Z Flip 3, so I guess I've been lucky!

Good phone so far. Did have some charging problems but I changed to a better cable and charging works better. Seems like a lot of these experts are a little too critical of certain things. I'm sure most everyday users will be plenty satisfied with the phone performance.

Yeah NGL feels a lil hypochondriacal where they hear an issue and suddenly they get it every day and the phone becomes unusable. Or maybe it's actually really terrible for some people I've no idea

I was so happy for this phone and I actually felt awesome getting it. It was my first pixel phone and I was stoked. But that all turned to crap during my 72 hours of use. My finger print sensor only worked half the time, finding myself entering a pin instead. Also my connectivity was bad. With my galaxy S20FE5G, I got great service in my work cafeteria and was able to call the wife. With the pixel she sounded like a robot if the call connected at all. Now I’m on the iPhone 13.

Unless you really ride the phone hard I don't think battery would be an issue. But nothing comes close to the iPhone 13 pro max where battery is concerned. If you use the Google ecosystem its a pretty big reason to come back. I'd assume there'll be less bugs as time goes on so it's possible. And the Pixel 6a can't be too far away at this point

This may be long winded but please bear with me, I really need some help as I've had no issues with the phone per se, apart from 1 particular issue that seems to be persistent yet intermittent.. as it's pertaining to the screen and so visual things, it's really starting to ruin my overall experience with the phone. So when I play games on my phone, access websites such as casinos or bookies and play slots .. I sometimes experience a weird glitch on the screen where whatever picture it's trying to display starts flickering on top of the display. It's as if pop up visuals are corrupting.. can't really explain it. Is there a specific word/name for this? A way to fix it... Is it to do with my resfresh rate along with screen quality.. conflicting with what perspective the screen is in such as portrait or landscape? Like it's really bugging me.

Is your phone fully up to date? That'd be my first suggestion. Google "pixel 6 Pro screen glitch" and see if that matches the visuals you're seeing but if it's only happening on the specific assets like ads or something or booky websites (which I would assume would have some pretty suspect ads) I'd say maybe they're just poorly made and optimised ads which aren't rendering properly in the phones gpu so you're just seeing a mess. It's only on those bits right and not the whole screen?

@@BuyersGuyd I'm really not sure, it seems to happen more when I'm in a slot and I hit a bonus and the phone has to render other graphics over the base game... Difficult to explain really... The picture the screen displays in the base game is fine... But it seems any additional graphics on top aren't displayed as they should be some weird zig zag letters flickers for all of a couple seconds or however long the visuals of the bonus continues for... But it happens via the browser and app. So I'm really not sure it's just an issue with the app itself. Could it be software conflicting with hardware .. settings for my display or something.

To me it just sounds like the app isn't very well optimised and is doing some weird stuff with the gpu that it's not expecting. Could be the developers haven't accounted for the pixel, probably not really any way to fix it except using a different slots app

Personally seems like those that are messing with the Pixel don't use Android very well or at all. Service issues are also NOT considered at this degree and with 5G expansion, and servers being a mess, who knows. I say this as a Pixel user, and I just don't get what people are saying.

@@BuyersGuyd when you get a message on your home screen you can look at the phone with the current iPhones and they open the message for you , on the older ones you quick press the fingerprint sensor to do the same . And only you can see them ,not anyone else . Can you view do something similar on this device or can anyone view the messages

Not that I'm aware of but that doesn't seem much quicker than just unlocking the phone so I'm not sure I see the point. But as far as I know you cannot do that on an android phone. It's either you see the message or just an icon

Pixel 6 pro owner here, I almost gave up on buying it given all the "negative" reviews that talked about bugs, non-performing battery, and various problems ... Fortunately, in the end I bought it anyway. Almost 7 hours of screen, no bugs, the fingerprint sensor is always reliable ... I believe that many complain a lot just because complaining about a Pixel makes the news, turning a pebble into a mountain just for clickbait.

Utterly disagree. Mine is in a package awaiting return. The first was replaced in under two weeks due to the well documented issue with the microphone, when making a call the the person being called was unable to hear me. The replacement then would not connect to my wifi. Google supports answer is a patch that they acknowledge may cause other issues or they recommend you wait for a fix. This fix was supposed to have been issued on march 7th but as of this Afternoon when I reset the phone prior to return that has not happened. Google support last night when pushed admitted they did not know when a fix will be ready for this problem. Add to that a finger sensor that doesn't sense I am glad I didn't use the phone long enough to probably experience some of the other reported difficulties with pixel 6.

A month with my 6 Pro and everything works perfectly 👌. Only thing that annoys me sometimes is the fingerprint scanner missing to read but it's not biggie tbh.

I really wanna love my Pixel 6 but the bugs are really hurting the experience. This is the buggiest phone I've ever owned. Connection issues, wifi turns on and off whenever it feels like it, sometimes when I get a notification while I'm doing something on the phone it dims the entire screen except the notification. It has NOT been a great experience and now that Samsung is offering more software support, I think be trading this thing in for an S22Ultra.

Very strange, I've had 0 of those issues

While I love this phone, I just can't recommend it given the sporadic nature of the issues people have been seeing. Since the 12L update the control center on my device often gets stuck and you can't access all of the toggles. The only fix? Hard reboot, it happened to me three times today alone. Then just the general UI inconsistency with Android 12. Occasionally the device simply forgets what color pallette you picked from your wallpaper.

So far I've had no issues with it forgetting a colour scheme but mine changes daily with my wallpaper. Also bugs on 12L should be expected since it's only in beta

Yeah it seems very random indeed. Not sure if QA, situational, locational or if some people are just pickier than others. Wild

I have P6 from december, and from begining i have lots of bugs, network signal problem, cant even call- ok now, (but still no 5g volte wifi calling in all EU countres), bluetooth disconeting me when i drive my Nissan qq and Toyota auris, front camera- hmmm worse then pixel 3 for sure, fp sensor after update working not bad- but still face unlock or back sensor working lots off better-faster, somtimes i can answer phone, green circle answer button not working- i need to call back to the caller, unlocked P6 EU version. Previously i have P2, P4, my wife use P3 and son P3a.

Most of those should be fixed now according to those that experienced them, id say the selfie camera is definitely better than the Pixel3 having come from one myself.

Good review. Nice work. I think we should swap phones for a month so you can try a good phone. The only benchmark you have is a crap phone. Love you

If you just give me your iPhone for a week I'll do a great comparison I promise

My 6 Pro will lose signal and never reconnect, unless I turn the phone on and off. This is my only issue but it is killing me.

@@BuyersGuyd Yes, as soon as they come out. I am also on the beta carrier services, which helped not lose signal as much. However when it does it cant reconnect.

Very odd. Might be worth an RMA to see if you have dud antennas. Or its possible you're in a spot with weaker signal and they're just dodgey. Hopefully someone online has the same issue and finds a fix

It's just the lens image stabilisation not being locked in place when not in use. It doesn't affect anything

Yeah it's with every p6p as far as I know. Would've been nice if they'd dampened it but it doesn't actually affect anything negatively

this is in reality an iphone 13 pro commercial. and with the s22 ultra getting mediocre reviews as well apple must be sitting back enjoying their view.

For 1400€ the price it sells in my region...even if it was the perfect phone it wouldn't be my choice to buy it. But it's not perfect...there are way better and cheaper options.

Yikes that's a lot No phone is worth that price imo

Sending a GIF in texts is a disaster. Picking up phone calls someone demands a 3-5 second transition and animation. Tried on 7 different 6's and 6 Pro's. These are the most annoying ones.

I've had no trouble sending gifs in texts. Unless you're sending to someone that doesn't use RCS like an iPhone maybe? As for a 5second phone answering animation I've got no idea what you're on about

@@BuyersGuyd Answering is the floating the notification. When pressing pick up, it's very glitchy taking you to the phone screen. Sometimes when adding a gif from keyboard in a text, it bring up contact list and then asks you to choose recipient, then takes you back to messenger where it inserts a blank image, you then back out and go back and there's a gif. I've tried on so many of these and they all do it. Maybe you got lucky. I saw it every day when i had mine.

Camera is just as bad as on the other pixel phones, they look great on the calibrated screens of the pixel (any) but send it to someone or view it on a computer and it's terrible. It's an instagram phone. Meant for lo-res life. Even the 6 and 6 Pro, really can't tell the difference between those and the 3a.

Yeah definitely not a bad camera at all. Top 3 of any phone ever. As you can see from the examples that I put in a video that a lot of people are watching on their computers. It looks great

@@BuyersGuyd Well, I truly disagree. Shutterlag is non-existent which makes for better experience overall and that's why it beats so many phones, on experience. But actual image quality is not great. Many won't care since they just do avg pics and insta. Fari enough. But I'd hoped they utilized the full capacity of this new sensor. But nah... Iphone 12 and 13 kills this and don't get me started on the Xiaomi flagships.

Have a P6P and I have trouble viewing my live feed google camera. No issues with my Apple 13 Pro doing so, even sitting side by side. Big issues for me.

Saying old as shit is disrespectful, and some people would rather talk to someone then send a message.

I don't doubt that some people have filed bugs, but those pixel 6 complaint videos seem more like an attempted sabotage and smear campaign, If one checks forums and Facebook groups, most users are happy with their pixel 6 and 6 pro.

NGL, half of the bugs on your already rather stop list of encountered bug would be a complete deal breaker for even the 600 p6, and would be cause for rma on other OEMs, if not a major social media shit storm of their own. If One UI crashes every week on a 900 dollar phone -- so a s22+ -- the entire smartphone enthusiast circle would be engulfed in touchwiz memes. Really not sure if the standards you're holding it to are fitting for a 900 dollar phone, or one one third of its price. This is doing worse than the original pocophone's garbage firmware, which was on a phone almost oem intended to be immediately rom'd into a pixel wannabe. None of these are new either, the entire pixel line has been known for bugs, continual slowdowns, updates that worsens things, and in general having unstable software. Again with the pocophone example, there were numerous outlets that reported even a xiaomi phone with a pixel experience rom and a gcam port just worked better than a stock pixel at the time. This is not a one time occurance, but rather historied at this point. If you're fine with a phone that suffers from weekly UI crashes, you really wouldn't be swapping it out for an iphone, that is 150 dollar scum of the earth chinese oem phone category. And this is your list, there are bug reports from other users with much more severe and numerous bug encounters, as well as googles own updates worsening things. Shit, they stripped magic eraser in one of those updates. I am personally pretty tolerant of Google's problematic launch here, none of this is new but this phone is also a new endeavour for Google in a lot of ways, I am fine with a rocky start. Not so much with this exceedingly forgiving apologist mindset here.

I hate this phone. Worst phone I've ever owned. Countless bugs that are extremely frustrating.

This phone is made by Samsung thats why it is so suck

I find that a lot of the people who complain about the pixel 6/pro in the comments on these tech channels, oddly never used a Pixel 6/pro, but have only seen some negative reviews by other tech reviewers, and have seen negative reviews from people who have had bad experiences with them. I don’t think that they understand that the majority of people who actually take the time to write a review are people who have a problem with something, while the majority of people who did not have issues, never write a review because the product was up to their expectations. People often praise iPhone and Samsung and refer to them as the most reliable. But, they seem to forget things like the iPhone 6S plus, which came with a major defect that affected many users! Search “iPhone touch disease” and you will see that thousands experienced this, and left their devices completely useless. Apple refused to take blame for this and would not fix it. Samsung and the infamous Note 7 🔥 which would catch on fire!! No shit!! The thing would literally blow up!! To make matters worse, this was not apples or Samsungs first edition of these devices, but was their 6th and 7th. Every phone, be it Apple, Samsung, Google, etc is going to have bugs. Some devices have major QC issues and multiple batches are released affecting thousands of people, and that is with all brands. The Pixel 6/Pro while it has its draw backs, is much like ANY other device out there, and even better than some.
