I think braille are doing the right thing regarding firing him. They work with kids and to have someone who is accused of such harsh crimes with evidence supporting it, it is understandable that they don't want their name involved. By the end of the day, braille is a company and the people that work there, are trying to get payed as well as educate others about skating. They can't do much more than fire him. I also think that is understandable that they don't want to talk about it. They wouldn't want their name involved and they don't want to cause more damage and go outside of legal rights. overall, I think braille is doing the right thing and that fetty being fired from braille, was a smart idea.

Although I appreciate the holistic "both sides" interpretation of this incident, I am kind of mortified at the comment section here. This was wrong, end of story. Fetty committed statutory rape wether the family pursues charges or not. I am not saying Fetty is an evil villain, rather he made a terrible mistake that he should have known better about. I hope fetty recovers from this and does better I really do, but the people blasting this incident as no big deal or the "girls fault" are just really screwed up. She is 14, 14-year-olds lie and do stuff like this all the time, they are by law recognized as non adults and are penalized differently by the law due to a natural neurological/developmental "impairment" that they can not control. It is our job as adults to be aware and vigilant about these behaviors and to not prey upon them. It is not black and white but fetty really fucked up and took advantage of a 14 year old "knowingly" or not.

This is Fettys problem. Not Braille’s. They didn’t fuck up. He did. They have a company to run and take care of. The moment they fired him (which is all they should be required to do because again they didn’t do anything to this girl) they did all they should have. I think the stuff that makes it weird is how apparently he got engaged like only three months or so before this affair with a minor was revealed, after like a relationship of +3 years. So messed up when you think about that too. Assuming everything is true. But seeing how Braille cut all ties pretty much instantly, I don't really see why it wouldn't be true. Don't get me wrong, I understand why Braille remains silent and had to cut all ties. A company that teaches kids to skate really wouldn't survive if it would become known they kept Fetty on the team with him dating a minor. I'm not sure what you want Braille to say about this. This isn't the type of allegation / offense you can just bring up casually as a PSA on why Fetty got kicked off and expect no repercussions from instantly. And a fair argument can be made Braille (probably) didn't in any way enable this.

But I think I kind of understand what you mean, but once a brand or company gets tainted with this type of thing that involved children, there's basically no way to get rid of that anymore. It'll cast lasting suspicion on the whole Braille team. No public statement would do anything good. It would probably affect people like Carlos Lastra who left some time ago, even when it had nothing to do with this. So I don't think that's fair. Let's be real for a second, would you allow your kids to go to a candy store when one of the employees starts dating with a 14 year old? Nope. You'd avoid that store like the plague and tell your kids not to go there anymore, even when the employee is fired. It would take years before any kind of trust is restored, right? And in some ways I don't think that's fair to Braille. Probably. I mean, why pretend them protecting their brand has a more nefarious reason?

He can engage and be around anyone who works with or is in Braille period. 2-no statement is needed. This content as well as all the details on the matter are based on others oppinions and thoughts. There are no newspaper articles or court documents because there isn't a story backing these allegations. All we have our bits and snippets of details and others speaking on it calling him a rapist/pedophile those hearing that take it for gold and begin harassing him it's just a big shit show due to the use of platforms like this and Reddit. If Fetty can admit to his mistakes and does at least 3 months in prison I could see Braille adding him back onto the squad. Well Chad's not trolling he is looking to get fetty in jail where fetty belongs it's clear to see that the chick he was with was underage it doesn't take rocket science to figure that out and Fetty knew full well of that because Chad made a video on it bring out the evidence

To be fair though, his only defense can be that it was all consensual. And the law doesn't agree with that. It doesn't matter the girl may have lied. I also wouldn't say charges have been dropped, some of these cases take years. Thing is, it is hard to find out if there's even a lawsuit filed. I think there is, pretty sure her mother doesn't want to let this go.
