Me too. Eric's book is situated in my bookshelves so I can see Bonhoeffer's face easily as I pass by. A contemporary hero of mine is Rand Paul. P.S. 79 yrs also.

I read his Bonhoeffer biography last year and was STUNNED by the parallels between now and then. The biography opened my eyes and caused me to pray differently. Thank you for this interview.

My husband's younger brother had converted from being a devout Roman Catholic to becoming a man who taught Una Vida con Propósito in his home, a cell group of a big evangelical church. One of the books he read and recommended was the Erick Metaxas biography of Bonhoeffer in Spanish. My brother in law had to consult with his pastor before going off quimiotherapy but his pastor said he knew Moris would see his Savior when he opened his eyes. I watched Erick throughout the plandemic because of Moris' recommendation. What a wise man with a quirky sense of humor. Que Dios me los bendiga a los dos! Sacramento concert, Sean, renewed my belief that California will be saved. I'm a granny but I love your music!

Eric Metaxas, your confrontation and explanation of the election fraud was brave and insightful. Thank you. Your voice is very important in America today.

My twins are homeschoolers and they are Seniors in High School this year. We will be reading "Bonhoeffer" and "If You Can Keep It" as part of our Government/Civics class curriculum. I pray that enough of the upcoming generation will know enough to defend the freedoms we enjoy that allow us to freely proclaim the Name of Jesus wherever we go. Thank you for this interview and for writing the books that will help us educate this generation. Homeschool parents like me are forever grateful to God for your work.

Have your children read Bonhoeffer for sure, but stay away from the false teacher, Eric Metaxas, whose book on Bonhoeffer is utter garbage. May I recommend you add the hiding place and parallel journeys to that book list. The hiding place is the story of Corrie ten Boom. She is the female Bonhoeffer. Parallel journeys is also about Nazi Germany and shows the story of a Hitler youth. Powerful.

Bonhoeffer is a difficult read, just FYI...very much worth it, but very very thorough and involved.

I need to understand this more---it's is "lonely" when you stand for conservative Christianity (which is Biblical!) it is lonely. I know this! Praise God for this teaching--I'm pressing in.

You can get the book on audible. The start is slow, but it ends well. I'm a huge fan of Bonhoeffer. He and Corrie ten Boom are my heroes. You must read The Hiding Place! It's my 5th scripture.

So often I see Eric in the questioner role and getting information and stories from others. It is so nice to see him on fire for God’s people and the gospel. You can hear his passion in his books, but I always like to hear his opinion on today’s cultural issues.

They are a few out there STANDING and speaking the TRUTH. If, IF, many who are picking and poking through theological differences and fighting against each other, would stop that and UNITE on WHAT is truly important!!!

This was fantastic! Eric is so great at articulating what is happening in our country, culture etc. So thankful for him and his voice and influence right now!

Also, I have, on two dozen or more web sites, proven - from Feb 2020! - that chlorine dioxide has BEEN KNOWN FOR DECADES to wreck ALL viruses. I EVEN went on the CDC site VERY EARLY and accused them of L-Y-I-N-G to the public! So! I am NOT impressed with the efforts made by churches. LOOK AT THE DEATHS! Loved this. Loved the book “If You Can Keep It” - definitely a great book to read to help understand our American heritage.

It's so interesting, the prophetic timing. I had awareness of Communism and Nazism through my wife's family who lived under the Soviet oppression. But I had Eric's book - Bonhoeffer on my shelf for a number of years and then finally read it December 2019/January 2020. I now feel God's timing was in my reading it in preparedness.

This is amazing. Sad to take 1 year to hear a conversation like this when the church and pastors have been so weak and complacent. Michael Hoff said “hard times creat strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times.” Lot of weak men today in America. They are saying, be a Bonhoeffer in this time of "cancel culture , CRT and BLM", because "you need to see what is happening early". And to that I say, AMEN. Jesus always addressed the real issue of the heart and mind...the condition of the person(s) soul he was speaking to. rich young ruler, woman at the well, the pharisees, Peter...Jesus spoke directly to the bottom line...love HIm. God's Word speaks to every issue of life..we must read, listen, meditate on it and let God change our desires to His desires.

I just know that Bonhoeffer was a godly man, he wrestled to know how to act in “such dark times” I know he loved the jews (!) I know he was one of the few Christian to take a stand. I deeply miss such voices today… in our, these dark days today….Christians do not seem to realise what’s going on…. this is very painful to me! The bible begins with Creation, then the Fall, the beginning of History of mankind, but then quite soon….we read how God brings out the Israelites of Slavery … brings them in “a homeland”! God, it seems to me. is the author of nations, because through good laws, good governments (ministers= servants, not LORDS)…. a society can, as we were experiencing in my beautiful country, a society can flourish! A human being needs roots and identity, needs a “home” God gives us all that through “our” nation (s)… where we can express our creativity and uniqueness 🇨🇭😅 THE EVIL ONE…. always tries to imitate Gods good gifts for our destruction….as he did by the NaziRegime….by abusing ….national identity…. Here in the USA, Sean Feutch & Eric Metaxas have been vocal supporters of our particular sociopathic megalomaniac (Donald Trump). "Christians" like Feucht & Metaxas have done everything they can to legitimize Trump's wickedness, especially when it comes to peddling Trump's demonic nation-poisoning Big Lie about the election. Great interview. Great to know I am not alone. I am a patriot. My father’s family fought in the Revolution. My dad and son served in the military. My mother was Eastern European. I love America. Trump has been married 3 times with multiple affairs. That is not an example of biblical manhood. We need better role models for our young men than that.
