I was surprised to hear his observation on KTM, which was the biggest issue of that bike .. "You have to rev high to achieve smoothness. " .. spot on Bob

Really good watch. These videos will give other people a good idea of what other bikes are like, because it really is a mine field out there, looking for the next bike.

Excellent I do like these episodes be interesting to see what the choices would be for a younger rider or maybe someone progressing up from an A2 licence. Bob hit the nail on the head though it's all about smile per mile 👍

Quite enjoying this series, reminds me of the old men & motors show

BMW F750GS, Moto Guzzi 1400 California, Yamaha Tracer 900GT. Those would be my selections for him based on what I think his height is and what he said he's looking for. All are lighter and smaller than the Goldwing and allow for commuting and touring.

Excellent second video in the series gents. Three interesting options.

Great show guys keep it up. Realy entertaining and what a nice guy Bob is.

The KTM is super comfortable. I have logged many 700+KM days, and felt decent at the end of the ride, on my 790.

I like this format, too. It would be cool to show us around the Superbike Factory to see some of the kind of bikes on offer (and maybe include the customer's spontaneous opinions on any of them). For me, this might take away a little sales/purchase pressure that I feel that each What Bike Next customer might have when filming with you, and definitely when coming to a final decision at the store. I look forward to the next one.

Thank you George. It’s a tried and tested template and I didn’t think it had appeared in the motorcycling world until posts appeared after episode 1 about an old show on Men & Motors.

Love this type of format

First thought was R1200RS so close. Gonna be a cracking series and looks like a new ride out venue too.

Had one, loved it. I'd still have it today if the missus want used to the comfort of a previous K16. Had to change to the R1200RT for the compromise.

Hahah not surprised even slightly, the R1250R is such a great all-rounder

Great episode! From the three, I think the Bimmer suits him best. I would go for the MT10. If it was a good-looking as Yamaha´s FZ1 from the 00´s.

Good to see this used bike buyer comparison series. I very recently enquired with superbike factory re stock BUT I seem to recall was told by staff NO TEST RIDES allowed at their Donnington site ! ....Please let me know if this is NOT the case. Unless I see/hear otherwise I have to assume that Test Rides not permitted. Oh & before end of vid but after seeing which of the 3 was most favoured I had identified that an R1200/R1250R would likely be ideal match. Thanks for sharing Ride Safe 👍🏍

What a great selection of bikes to choose from!! I'm torn between the very functional and good looking Beemer and the super-functional awesome performing KTM. I don't have a KTM dealer anywhere close to where I live in Central California. So I'll choose the BMW!

Good shout but it might have been too tall, and after the KTM he said he wasn’t that keen on adventure style bikes. Cheers, Michael

Rather than the MT10 I'd have suggested the Tracer 9. From 14:40 you can see the top box and screen flexing like mad on the KTM, either fitted too loose or the KTM mounts have too much flex.

Wants to try a Yam triple and likes retro...that'll be the XSR 900 then!

He made the best choice in the end imo.

I'm @ 4:01 scanning the bikes, left to right, trying to work out what's under each cover. At this point I think No.3 is a horse.

He's lucky to get a test ride from this dealer. Was told by the staff last year they don't do test rides.

I have a boxer, and had 11 before.. they are special ,wise wise man lol. He needs a Kawazaki z900rs café racer . :)

Why wouldn’t you enduro/off-road the Urban GS? It’s relatively light, good suspension travel, comfy, and lots of tire options

MT-10 was more upright than I expected, I have an R9T and it looks more upright than mine.

I think that engine would have suited Bob, if not in an MT-09, certainly the Tracer but then again he said he didnt' want anything too tall or adventure style.

I really like this show (!?) maybe it could be a thing on a TV channel. Anyway looked to me like the BMW suited best but I’m sure there is a triumph that would do a better job.

I really think I've missed content like this... reminds me of TV that was actually useful rather than just an unrealistic review.

The MT10 was a great choice, I've run one for 6 and a half years. Enjoy the format and I'm often up at the Superbike Factory cafe as its only up the road from me. After chatting to the Bennetts crew at the NEC, I'm impressed at the content and advice you guys provide. Keep up the good work 👍
