I really like the idea of a stalker mod. There’s no actual npc but it changes things whenever the player isn’t looking or is far enough away, like building bases , stealing items and using resources in the environment which creates the illusion of something else being there

I think it matches the vibe really well. Most younger teens playing with friends on a console world aren't really making very good buildings, lol. It makes sense for him to be more focused on using a signature block than decent materials, at least in most cases, and in a nostalgic sense

Remember when andrew mentioned that he and his friend(presumably Chris) dug a hole thru a montain? that makes me think... this isnt the first memory wipe, since on the first videos there were a hole going thru a mountain.

Something you didn’t mention is that while Andrew is mining cobble in the new world, he mentions creating a tunnel through a mountain with his friend, just like the one on the old world. Meaning even when the new world starts he is already slowing beginning to remember.

I honestly thought from the first few freeze frames that the video was just manipulating viewers into believing there’s some sort of creepy plot to the channel, when really there was nothing…

58:26 I’m pretty sure I saw a video essay about one of the relatives (Brother-in-law or something) of Notch, C148 or one of the other original people who helped create Minecraft in the video it said some of the paintings were pixelated copies of there work, it said that the painter made some work off of old FPS games. One of the examples was a middle-east looking map that looks really similar to that painting. I cant for the life of me remember anything more but I hope this helps.

Got very curious about the title and thumbnail, seeing this was about Minecraft for some reason, and I got immediately hooked. Insanely well done , from the editing to how you structure the video. Wasn't expecting this but I am not disappointed, keep making videos, you're doing an amazing job!!

a thing i noticed while watching was the presence of wandering traders. in quite a few episodes you can see/hear them and my little theory is that this is a form chris can take to watch andrew. even in one of the newer episodes (His World) you can faintly hear a wandering trader while he is looking out a window (at 11:02, in that video, not this one). while it could be a coincidence, they appear so many times that i think its intentional

On bedrock, a wandering trader spawns anywhere from 5 to 8 minutes after booting up the world. At least in my experience. Thanks to this, I have so many llamas now.

Man, I'd have shat my pants and stopped everything at the "being watched at the well" video. I respect and admire people's courage to keep going in these hellish worlds,I wouldn't do it.

This might have already been discovered but the painting in the video is "An Alternative Route." made by Kristoffer Zetterstrand in 2006, Notch's former brother-in-law that made other paintings that are featured in minecraft.

Watching this series before you made this video really hit home more than any other game ARG I witnessed. Playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360 with my siblings and watching other people play it was and still is my favourite memories so having this series be about that but twisted really warms my heart.

Came to see how accurate the portrayal of manipulation was, stayed for my new found favorite Minecraft ARG

Something to note is that Andrew is still in the old world where he started it all. I know because the items are in the ender chest which can only happen if its the same world, which highly implies that Chris must have changed the world spawn whilst Andrew was a under the lethe protocol and highly implies that he either changed the spawn to prevent Andrew from seeing his old stuff, or the answers to everything were more close than we thought. Hidden somewhere at Andrew's house or around that area.

For the painting it reminds me a lot of either Rene Magritte's work or Salvador Dali, specifically "The persistence of Memory" which i thought it might have been the top left corner of. Whatever the forms are, they and the colors of that painting would lead me to believe its by either of those two, or by some other surrealist or dadaist painter. If somebody wanted to find out, id start looking there.
