You fill it as married and your spouse will also need to fill out a DS260 form. You will need to prove your marriage is genuine during the interview

Brother, the DV lottery is free of charge which means anybody can play without any financially headache. Please here is my concern: About the host, I don't have anybody there to host me and please if for example someone accepted can he please do it for free??? Once in America we gonna pay back.

Filling out the DS260 fast does not make any difference. At this point, all you need is to keep an eye on the visa bulletin to see when your case number becomes a priority

Hello, quick question, can you add your children after selection, if they were not added before on you DS260 ?

If they were born after you submitted your entry then yes, you can add them to your DS260. On the other hand, if they were already born prior to your DV lottery entry submission then though you can add them, you become ineligible for the diversity visa. Failure to list all children who are eligible or listing someone who is not your child will make you ineligible for a DV, and your spouse and children will also be ineligible as Diversity Visa derivative applicants.

This is one of the reasons they select twice as many people as they will give visas to. As has been stated many times, you do not “win” the DV lottery-you are selected to go to the next steps. The next steps weed out people who are ineligible. If you did not list ALL eligible children you become ineligible.

No, they do not. All you need is for the person to consent that they are willing to host you and you can get their address to use to complete your DS260 form. The diversity visa program is a self-sponsored immigrant visa meaning you do not need any one to sponsor your greencard.

Yes, South Africans are eligible. For the DV2024 about 199 entrants were selected. So if you did not already submit an entry for the DV 2025 last year, then you can wait till October to submit an entry for the DV 2026 when it is opened to receive applications

For the DV 2024 lottery, 10 entrants were selected from Namibia. The more applications are received from a country, the more likely there will be a lot of entrants selected.
