Hi Simon, I got selected from Oceana New Zealand with a number around 1050. I'm already in USA on a work visa. DS260 confirmation page tells me KCC will not schedule my appointment with USCIS and I should contact my local USCIS. Do I still need to wait for KCC to give a go ahead before I can book my interview?? Thanks in advance for your help

You should move on, of course. Each year enter in October, check in May, but realize that it won't work for everyone. So, life goes on, make the best of it, and perhaps look into other ways to emigrate.

at the moment for DV2024 the current case number in Asia is still only 12,000 so you can wait until next year to see before asking the KCC

That should be fine as cases will be scheduled from later this year and will be based on your case number. Even if you filled the form as early as you can you'll be processed according to case number

If you're submitting the DS-260, try removing the zeros between the letters and numbers.

That's an expired year. You will have to reapply for 2026 and try again.

Yeah never let a company handle.. They will withhold confirmation number for money. Sad business. However, you might be able to retrieve your confirmation number if they really did submit it.

Use the forgot confirmation number link in order to retrieve your birthday - that means trying many times, which you must not do in the DFS260!!

Greetings from Armenia Sir🙏 I was lucky this year and finally I’ve been selected . But now I discovered that I made two mistakes. The first mistake was made in the education section, I indicated Some Universal Courses but in fact I have a Vocational School education. (in our country, school is 10 years of study in a regular school, which does not imply higher education, so I got it mixed up).And the second mistake is in the section about residential address; I indicated the name of the suburb in Address Line 1.
