Your advice for having a backup system helped me to make my decision to have a backup cooking appliance! I already have a Jackery 1000 and 2 100-watt panels for backup! Enjoy your trip 🎉

Hey Bev, you've had quite the busy year! It's so much better to have back-ups and not need 'em, than need 'em and not have 'em! We carry a Harbor Freight jump starter (mid- priced one) if batteries get low we plug the fridge into that, then run generator to charge everything back up the next day. Always at least one gallon jug of water. We have that 30 gallon water tank, but if the pump or batteries fail we're thirsty. I need to get a round to'it and install a tee with a shut off valve between tank and pump that would let us fill that gallon jug again using gravity, 'cause that's always working.

Hi Helen. Yes I will to a tour of the church when I’m back there again.
This is a good electricity generator that is very important, especially since you love traveling and camping, but it runs on solar or gasoline energy. We call it here groupe rechargable 🎒👍🏻⚡⚡

I have a full electric setup with battery, inverter, and charge controller, but I still prefer my portable power station! I wish I had bought 2 instead of gone with the electrical.

Yes we have a 54” zero turn lawn mower. I actually like mowing too. It is almost a meditation. When I mow, I mow. You really can not do anything else at the same time.

Hello Bev, great to see you again. Back up systems are truly very important. As a scuba diver it can be life or death. Did have one air failure at 168 feet one time. No big deal as I grabbed my other air system and called the dive. Could have been very dangerous but it was just ho hum grab the other air. Would have loved to see a video of you being the yard woman cutting the lawn. Hope you had a funny sun hat on.

I’m just learning to dive. In fact I just returned from a dive trip in Puerto Rico. Yes those buddies and back ups are 100% necessary
👏👏👏👍👍👁️👁️😎😇🐕🦺❤️🙏🦘🐨🇦🇺currently at Dartmoor Victoria Australia, heading into South Australia on our way to Adelaide the city of churches, just in front of our van a mummy koala with a baby on her back walked over to climb a tree ,the tree already had a large male sitting up in it that we hadn’t noticed until then. To say we were wrapped would be an understatement, me and the bride have spent decades between us moving through the bush and have never seen a wild koala, let alone a family group.

2 is 1 and 1 is none. A Sawyer water filter or life straw filter. Flint or ferro rod for 🔥starting. Another great idea is to have your hot water tank heated by the radiator coolant system (while you drive it heats up the water).

In my new build I have a Bluetti Power Back as a house battery. I also have 400watts on the rooftop. I can charge the bluetti by plugging it in or by the solar panels. Jonnie, my van builder explains it a bit in my van tour video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/f3eIqLuAmMvShco.htmlsi=ojov6w8H1NxU-h09

I have a diesel heater, but also a butane portable heater and a electric chicken coop heater that runs on 200-300 watts for heat. A generator - of course !! I have a solar setup tied into my ambulance rv. But, I have another 200w solar panel thats mounted and tilts on my roof just to charge my extra power stations. My friend bought a church back in the 80’s and turned it into college housing. He would have parties with live bands and my band(s) got to play there. Really cool open area and upstairs balcony for the show goers.
