Such a great idea to do shorter videos about something specific. Of course “more often” excites us viewers but don’t allow yourself to be pressured by that rush of blood to the head! It’s always great to see and hear from you guys, no matter when or about what. Love you guys ❤❤

So pleased you can see light at the end of the tunnel. Good idea with your videos, short and simple, don't put yourself under pressure. Rich, I know exactly what you, (both) are going through. Spring is round the corner, lots of colours and inspiration for your painting. I am a novice watercolour 'artist' and I absolutely need the thoughts and process of painting/ sketching to relax and chill!! I certainly need to improve, so I try and do something as often as I find the time. Like you I have a very understanding wife who is always encouraging me to take up my pencil or brushes and be creative. As well as my Royal Enfield Classic 350, painting is my relaxation and is fun, I'm even encouraging our granddaughters!! Keep it up Rich. Enjoy each other and your life afloat. Pete and Caroline. ❤

So happy to see you are coming out on the good side Rich. Think about your health and wellbeing mate, try not to get buried in the editing, I know many do not understand just how much effort goes into choosing which parts to cut out. 30 years ago we edited a 4 week holiday with many many hours of camcorder tapes (6 x 90's) down to 30 mins, took us 2 years 🥵🥵. We do enjoy watching your vlogs but please take care of yourselves.

As always, I shall look forward to your videos, short or long. Although I understand why you want to make them shorter and fully agree that this is a good idea.

Always good to step back, have a change of scenery, pause and reflect what you do have when back. It must have felt weird not having your dog routine to do if only for a few days, what a holiday for them as much as for you both. Have you made a decision regarding starting back up the podcast? You both have the knack re keeping a conversation flow going got these and they were brilliant to listen to. Thank you Lynette. It was actually quite liberating to be able to wander around without the dogs, but of course we were glad to see them when we got home. I promise you we would like to start the podcasts again and often talk about it but stuff often gets in the way. Hopefully if shorter simpler videos work for Rich, we can find some time for podcasts again.

I agree short video with not so much content are so much better. Some vlogs on you tube are far too long with not much content. So sad as so much time editing is involved. Your vlogs are always so interesting. Thanks so much.

Yes, you have to look after your health, especially your mental health so if short videos take some of the stress of you and that’s a good idea

You don’t have to do a video every week ya know. We’ll wait an extra week or two if it helps you get your schedule under control. Sit back and enjoy living on the water. Walk the dogs. Put your feet up, get a cup of coffee and watch the clouds drift by.

I can relate, I've been miserable the last 2 years since I made the mistake of moving to Portland Oregon, where it rains 8mo of the year, and it's overrun with homeless drug addicts and crime. But I'm moving back to California next month so will be happy again! XX to Jess and Archie!

Glad you’re feeling better and you’ve both been enjoying London. Spring has been poking its head every week or so and that gets me started thinking about putting away the piles of books, yarn, floss, magazines and various tools to hang online that are around my cozy chair and think about what I want to do in the garden and outside soon. I can’t wait so I’ll start my spring clean, get out some glass to inspire what projects I’ll cut first, I can’t cut glass indoors but I have been picking up the odd pretty bits in preparation. Will your threads and yarn have brighter colours and softer content fibre come spring Fran? In a Monet mood Rich? Take care, enjoy the dogs and harvesting as the green starts to arrive, may the mud season be short👍🏼🙋🏼‍♀️

Have suffered with an anxiety and depression disorder for many years great to hear you are coming out the other side , but never forget you are not on your own keep up the good work and be kind to yourself.
