With all the negative news and the tyrannical new world in the media I’ve turned it off and now I only listen to this guy. He’s making me stronger every day. Thank god for people like him.

Bang on...two truths...one that we perceive with our 5 senses and the other that can be perceived from beyond the senses...so if we have to perceive the absolute reality then we have to raise our awareness so the veil of mind dissolves....
Spot on. Thank You for this.
Thank you guru for your immensely valuable teaching!!!
Dear Rinpoché, that explanation was one of the best I have heard so far on this very difficult subject. Thank you for your deep wisdom and clear way to pass it on/or teach it!🙏💖🌸

Thank you Master🙏🙏🙏
Very precise explanation, thank you monk Rinpoche ☺️😇🙏
Amazing thank you
This is to know truth as truth and untruth as untruth .
I love this guy, he teaches proper Buddhism, not Dailai lam, he is just a politician, just look at the suffered of Tibetan people, they keep on saying that Chinese are the problems, but it is really all the elite of monks, when he was in charge of Tibet, this guy should be the new leader of Tibetan Buddhism.
For the liberation of all sentient beings
In my case, u acted as the good friend. Thank you.
We live in a society were we have to do things right, but what is the definition of doing something right. i see his meditation lessons like that. i meditate but i keep thinking am i doing it right. its just letting go and be free.
Perception vs reality. Relative reality is perception. And absolutely reality is reality as it is. Can we say that?
The "many, many boxes" are the associations in our mind. We are conditioned to recognize and categorize what we see and experience by means of associations. Actually most of them are given to us, which creates our dependency to a culture or society. We are nearly lost, when we encounter something that we can not weave into our web of associations. I imagine that the first step to move towards the perception of absolute truth is to try to recognize and remove associations as we ponder over a subject or object. Is there a need to explain, or can we allow ourselves to perceive something simply for what it is?

Speaking as someone from America, I can say that most people here would have a hard time understanding this principle. The rope and the snake analogy is hard to grasp for them.

what are peoples opinions on the difference between contemplating and meditating
The rope analogy is there in all Indian philosophies including Buddhism....Not surprising that buddha was hindu and implemented all the Upanishads teachings
It's ok to be dead in the inside or die in the inside. As long as you are able to "rebirth" you will start anew and find stride again.
like his way of giving speech As a Muslim I found many similarly with Islam and Buddhism specially in spiritual aspects,(E.g -same way when we stand for salat/namaz we practice meditation for 5 times in day) Though there is theological difference between two religion but in search of inner peace and calmness both religion seem identical

Every religion is essentially a different perspective (relative truth) of the same thing (the absolute truth)
who can explain me how in the end can we see the absolute reality??

Everything that appear is a relative reality,then where can we find object or subject of absolute reality to meditate for.

Everything is impermanent, you can study this first.
So, death is the absolut reality ,isn't it ?
@merikslingerland1293

Absolute reality is beyond the concept of death, Death is a concept of relative reality.
Chabsuecho
isn't absolute too a relative truth from observer point. as you say beyond- then freedom too is concept. it has no way of knowing it as freedom, forget achieving buddhahood. beyond means that. how the hell can you call its freedom in beyond when you say its beyond words, expression blah blah etc.to achieve freedom means idea of self(concept) thats need to be freed still exits as per heart sutra
@nessmess500

It's a paradoxical loop. We are currently both free and unfree, unfree and free, both and neither
"Truth is relative" Is that true? Relativism isn't right
I love Rinpoche but I can smell his breathe through my headphones 😂

How does it smell
This is similar to Advaita Vedanta
There are no two truths and no abhidamma and no 84000 ways to liberation. Those imaginative "truths" were the products of followers imagination concocted hundreds of years after the Buddha passing. They are a compromise and deviations to the Buddha's original teachings.The truth of the original teachings are found in the nikayas / dharma vinaya of the Pali texts. Always insist on the original teachings!
