What are the results of ADHD Treatment? - Harley Therapy

Dr Stephen Humphries of Harley Therapy discusses how significant results are achieved through treatment for ADHD. Sufferers often find treatment helps them calm down, focus more clearly and be less overwhelmed (www.harleytherapy.co.uk/adult-....
ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neuro development disorder that more commonly presents in childhood, but can and does persist into adulthood.
Dr Stephen Humphries FRC Psych is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Harley Therapy (www.harleytherapy.co.uk) Harley Street in London. In this video he talks about how dramtatic results can be achieved through the varying forms of treatment for ADHD.
Although less widely diagnosed in adults in the UK than it is in the US or Canada, ADHD is a relatively common condition. Common symptoms can be anxiety, lack of confidence or depression, but standard treatments for these conditions can just make ADHD worse.
In our other videos, Dr Humphries discusses what kind of treatments are available for adult ADHD and how medication, in particular, can be spectacularly successful.
Dr Humphries can usually see a new patient within a week of a referral with the assessment available within 10 days of the appointment. However there is no obligation to follow up with the treatment. So to book an assessment, contact www.harleytherapy.co.uk today.

Recently diagnosed at 25. First day I took meds, I just sat on the porch, looked at the world around me and just started to cry. I had never, ever, ever seen or experienced the world so peaceful and calm and just 'in the moment'. 20 tourists and 5 radio stations in my head all off, and my body fully calm. It was and still is unbelievable.

My ADHD brain loves listening to the original ASMRtists, the Brits! British people speak in a delightfully soft tone that is so relaxing to hear.

Frontal lobe, so does this explain why I have a constant dull ache on the top of my forehead, temple to temple ? I’m currently being referred to a doctor for a ADHD assessment. 39 YO I always thought it was ppl that just couldn’t sit still etc. I watched a video last week and I was like “wow, this explains my whole life”
