Which areas are safe affordable family friendly to live?? Does it get very cold there?? Do you have crocodiles problems, love bugs?? Scorpion??What are the properties taxes on a average?? Does it hail in all texas?? Flood?? Is more humid or dry? Is there tornados, hurricane?? How's the health insurance ??

McKinney, Frisco, Prosper - safe and highly sought after areas for families. Doesn’t get very cold, it gets very hot. Mosquito problems. Property taxes are based on the county appraisal values of the home so they vary widely. It bails often in DFW. Tornadoes yes, hurricanes no 👍

@@TexasHomesByMike I meant the numerous significant art museums in DFW, the symphony orchestra, the opera, etc.
Dallas has gotten way too big! Too many people! It’s driven home prices up to insane amounts and the summer heat is getting worse. I relocated to the east. Best decision I’ve ever made. As a Dallas native I will say this. Dallas is a great place for young people who are wanting to get into a competitive job market and looking for endless stuff to do.

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts here! I traveled east this week for a vacation in Panama City Beach, FL. Love it here! Agreed on how many people we have in Dallas. The infrastructure/highway systems have not caught up with the rapid increase in population.
There is way more to do in Dallas than I thought. Thank you!! I think another con is parking in downtown Dallas. Such a mess!
