@@rpgrage7711 i’m fine with Ulforceveedramon in the Knights but we can drop Magnamon I don’t care much for multiple forms from the same line in a group I’d like to see Valkyrimon as a Royal Knight

I can imagine a sequence where Gargoylemon is covered in stone to become Shakkoumon and then bursts out as ClaviceAngemon-like some kinda big, holy chrysalis

Ive had the same idea with clavis but also had one for slashangemon where he dramatically thusts his sword out from within shakkoumons chest then dices his way out with those big sword arms like a storm of blades, sending shakkoumon shards flying at his foes. Both a digivolution sequence and a one time attack to show off.

I'm kind of liking the Idea that Gargoylemon's Mega would end up being Magnadramon, by having its Natural Digivolution Manticormon gaining Sentience and fully Purifying itself...

If I remember correctly, there's a reference to ClavisAngemon line in the TCG. It starts with an armadillomon digging something, then we get Ankylomon smashing some bricks, then we get Shakkuomon organizing those stones into a temple and finally ClavisAngemon protecting the temple.

It is actually confirmed in the show that patamon and gatomon are indeed the reincarnated forms of ophanimon and serephimon they literally talk about it in the show and both have flashbacks to that time

They didn't even "reincarnate". Seraphimon was sealed and lost energy over time and devolved into Angemon and hopelessness gave birth to Devimon, Ophanimon was caught by remnant powers of Zeed and devolved and in turn became DarkKnightmon by corruption. So, sort of they were both just sealed away. It was the "warriors" that were reincarnated as themselves.

While I like the idea of putting Terriermon for the parallel lines, I definitely think Kudamon works better as a "holy" rookie. Plus seeing it turn into an angel instead of a Royal Knight would be kind of a cool twist. Maybe if there was a show based around the demon lords as main antagonists? I think you proposed something similar at some point but its 6 am local time and I'm not awake enough to remember 😅

I see what you getting at but you can say the same thing for Lopmon as it didn't have a holy line till Tammers and Frontier Terriermon can definitely become and fit as a holy Digimon

Luxmon- Piddomon- ArkhaiAngemon- ClavisAngemon is my pick. Visually it works and it gives some love to some Digimon that I think deserve it.

I was going to suggest the same. Also Luxmon and Impmon are similar so you kind of have a fallen counterpart as well.

The show did confirm that Patamon, Lopmon and Tailmon were those Holy Digimon reborn. Plus, I do like parallels between the Holy and Demon Digimon. Happy St. Patrick's Day Karn EX.

Actually, Tailmon and Patomon aren’t even reborn, they are the same Digimon they just lost their original power for one reason or another.

@@easymodegamer501 Well, Patamon is reborn. Not when he first appears as Angemon, but he sure dies immediately then is reborn a few moments afterwards. Tailmon though does remain the whole time alive. Good job.

I liked digiknow's adventure 02 reboot video that linked each of 7 holy digimon to the 02 partners specifically (gives a bit more meaning to them being "ancient digimon"): Seraphimon - patamon Ophanimon - gatomon Slashangemon - veemon Clavisangemon - armadillomon Valdurmon - hawkmon Cherubimon - willis' lopmon Rasielmon - meiko's meikoomon (though personally I'd want to find somewhere for wormmon)

wormmon is technically on the royal knights as imperiadramon paladin mode is a jorgress so there is also that i guess though it is deffinely more of a veemon line then a wormmon one

While Lopmon is the Default Natural Line for Cherubimon, I think Wormmon could be the correct Rookie here, as Ken's was meant to use the Digi-Egg of Kindness - its Armor Digivolution Pucchimon could easily transition towards Cherubimon (Virtue), and the Theme of Kindness fits Cherubimon (Virtue)'s standing within the Three ArchAngels...

I’m now curious on if these 7 are unofficially the counter parts to the 7 demon lords, which of the 7 virtues would they represent/which demon lord would be their direct rival.

Yes a lot of people consider them the unofficial counter part of the demon lords but their not as Digimon hasn't even ever hinted at it and Karn also said they aren't while a lot of media and Digimon themselves have hinted the Olympus 12 are the Demon lords counter parts without actual confirming it but giving vague hints

Personally I'd give Slashangemon Magnangemon with Seraphimon having Priest Mode or even Arkangimon. Solely because the blade of Magnangemon would transition nicely into Slashangemon's blades.

Valdurmon being a huge bird and Clavis/Slash Angemon being associated with Shakkoumon gave me the impression the "spare" holy digimon were connected to the 02 partners. The flaw to this theory is that Veemon would have to evolve into the other angel (Ultra Angemon real) and Wormmon gets nothing. As usual.

We need 7 Holy Digimon group in contrast to 7 Demon Lords. Also, it's not Karn Ex's video if armor digimon aren't mentioned.

Kendomon/ketomon line in digimon world 3 is my favorite but only because world 3 was my first digimon game but i do enjoy kendomon , dinohumon , Kyukimon to bladeangemon who am guessing is slashangemon but they just wanted to change blade to the action a blade does. Kyukimon does have a holy rod from Egyptian in its mouth so works as a holy digimon.

Kinda fitting you connected Gargoylemon and Shakkoumon to a line, given they were both involved in the arc of Xros Wars where X4B first appeared. Weird bit of symmetry and whatnot.

Note though that that Arc of Xros Wars also had them as Direct Underlings of SlashAngemon, further Implying that Digivolution Path as being a Natural one for the Angelic Law Enforcers...

I feel like they should have revealed that Leomon’s group were also reincarnated holy Digimon. Would have fit nicely and tied up that particular plot point.

Love all of them 🙏🏼 Maybie Halsemon and hawkmon could work as Valdurmon prevo to keep the bird theme, or even changing darcmon for unimon? Who knows

I think all your Choices were good also I think Valdurmon could digivolve from Hippogriffamon from Aquliamon from Hawkmon as the three of them share Yellow Beak and Blue eyes.

I like this as a sort of unofficial/official counter to the demon lords. i also like slashangemon or clavisangemon being potential holy villains in an arc. Chaotic good villains are fun to work with.

I'm not a huge Shakkoumon fan but that ClavisAngemon line is very good.

I think it would be really fun if you did more digimon lines videos like this, but also had custom art made for new prevos

Slashangemon is defenetly my favourite member of these holy angels, just because it looks the most badass.

I'm a firm believer in hawkmon and armadillomon being included alongside lopmon, patamon, and gatomon, but I really like your picks! You're totally right about Harpymon matching Shakkoumon and ClavisAngemon visually, I've never seen that connection before!

I feel like the armadillomon and hawkmon could be rookies for ClavisAngemon and Valdurmon. Lopmon, Patamon, and Gatomon for Cherubimon, Seraphimon, and Ophanimon mon are given. Same for Meicoomon line for Rasielmon. BladeAngemon is the one im not positive on. I guess it could just be Veemon so its like all the 02 digimon (+meicoomon) are part of this group. XVeemon looks like it was trying to go some kind of holy route with those wings. Wormmon being excluded. But just have a deeper story to him. He's kinda more of an original tamer with that digivice. "The lost soldier" or something.

Karn pls make a video on Terriermon's other Digiegg lines. Oc creations if possible

My head canon for Ophanimon includes D'Arcmon and now Luxmon being a branch that can turn into Seraphimon or Ophanimon. I am surprised you had not made a video about the angels until now. 😁

The Seraphimon and Ophanimon in the flashbacks are explicitly the present Patamon and Gatomon. Seraphimon was captured at the end of the war and kept corroded in darkness, being shown to be partially corrupted into ShadowSeraphimon before reverting to MagnaAngemon and then Angemon, with Devimon splitting off of him. I don't remember the specifics for Ophanimon, but she either died and her egg was corrupted to become SkullKnightmon or she was just corrupted into SkullKnightmon without being reborn.

Slashangemon has never made sense as shakkoumons evo. Clavis definitely does tho. But I still have problems with any of them being related to armadillomon/ankilomon.

I love that they picked 5 fairly prominent holy digimon, especially in Adventure canon, and then just randomly SlashAngemon and ClavisAngemon which are otherwise really obscure digimon.

I think you should do a video of purifying the 7 demon Lords and what day would become or create new versions of them for Easter

I always felt the World 3 line for guardi/slashangemon was a good digivolution course. Kotemon starts as small monster with a wooden sword for sport, becomes Dinohyumon with dual macheties, Kyukimon with twin sycthes with wind powers, then becomes an angel with duo swords and blades for wings and feet. It's like they're becoming a more realized swordsman through each stage of digivolution.

5:05 we haven't had the good line in any media since Tri, it needs a comeback

kinda disappointed there wasn't more emphasis on this specific group in the 2020 reboot but TheDigiKnow suggested that if they ever rebooted 02 these 7 digimon could potentially be the final forms of the 02 kids minus, of course, Rasielmon and Cherubimon Veemon > SlashAngemon Armadillomon > ClavisAngemon Hawkmon > Valdurmon I mean... it's digimon. things evolve into other things all the time so I actually would love to see something like this

I remember when 2020 reboot first showed them, I was hoping the remaining Holy/Celestial Digimon would be the holy forms of the 02 cast if they continued the reboots with Adventure 02 reboot. Specifically Veemon into SlashAngemon, Armadillomon into ClavisAngemon, and Hawkmon in Valdurmon. With Ken and Wormmon being the outliers (as Digimon Emperor not getting a Holy Digimon makes sense but could earn a spot as the 8th Holy Digimon as thus a new true Wormmon Mega). Plus a reboot could work in Meiko and Willis as actual teammates in the second half of the reboot after Ken is redeemed and they need all the holy Digimon to deal with the ultimate threat sealed in the Dark Ocean or whatever

I hope they'll bring these guys back as an official counterpart to the 7 Great Demon Lords. Or else make 7 new ones for funsies, the angel and demon digimon are always my favorites (speaking of which, how about a custom art video where each of the demon lords gets a Satan Mode-tier form that has all 7 code crowns? 🤔)

A bit suprised that ArkhaiAngemon, Pidomon or at the very least Luxmon aren't featured in any line here. I feel Luxmon would work well as a Rookie for the line through Knightmon to SlashAngemon for example. In general though, even with that I feel there's a clear lack of Holy-type Digimon especially on the Champion and Perfect level and a clear lack of variety.

You brought up the symmetry thing here. I think you can work with that

I like these lines. I thought of a somewhat different one for SlashAngemon though, namely Luxmon > Pidmon > HolyAngemon Priest Mode > SlashAngemon. It came to me because SlashAngemon is very weird for what the angel hierarchy is in the franchise, namely, the increasing number of wings for higher-ranked angels; SlashAngemon has only two despite being the commander of the Angel Army. This gives it a line that's fully made of two-winged angels, that's also why it uses Priest Mode over the normal HolyAngemon.

This video seems straight forward for the most part

I like the list. I think Luxmon would also make a good Darcmon pre-evolution.

What of you did your own 7 Virtues digimon vs the 7 deadly sins[7 demon lords] for a custom art video? Sort of like Chastity vs Lust, Charity Vs Greed ect ect. Could be a cool video haha

I like the theory that the 7 Holy Digimon are actually the 02 Kids + meiko and Willis partners with veemon evolving to slashangemon, hawkmon to varodurumon and armadillomon to clavisangemon .

We need more Mega digimon archetypes, like Royal Knights, Seven Demon Lords, etc.

It's times like these I miss Agumon and Gabumon.

Something you didnt consider: Both Hippogryffomon and Darkmon have this Patamon looking ... Digivice/Tamagotchi on their design (Darkmon on their Staff, Hippogryffomon on his necklace), so the "holy" connection fits with Patamon digivolving into Angemon!

Yes, I also thought that the Patamon>Darcmon>Hippogriffomon>Valdurmon line also makes sense as a sort of alternative digivolution line for Patamon, since the top of Darcmon’s staff and Hippogriffomon’s necklace pendant both have Patamon’s wings on them!

While definitely both being part of a possible Patamon Digivolution Line, D'arcmon and HippoGryphomon didn't Canonically Exist as Genuine Digimon until After the Events that their Designs Debuted in: in _the Digimon Frontier Movie_ - where those Patamon-Eared Tamagotchi Accessories were Visual Cues to Clue in Viewers to the Fact they were both Disguises for the Evil Digimon Murmuxmon! After that, the Digital World Did what it Does with New Information, and Translated these Disguises into New Digimon Species to the Web of Digivolution...

What do you think of the DW3 line for Slash Angemon (Kotemon -> Dinohyumon - Kyukimon - SlashAngemon)? Then one could go Kyukimon's route with mystical beasts with stuff like Youkomon into the original Kudamon/Renamon or even go all in on the blade motiff as a meme with Gazimon and Snimon but that's too far Also I really like the original Yatagaramon for Valdurmon from Survive since it has a Holy Ring while also possessing multiple wings

Id like to think that spadamon is the rookie of slashangemon because of the color and weapon choice ❤

More Digimon like Dominimon should join this group so that it have 10 members and their officiel name should become the 10 commandments

...Because the First Censoring of its Name from BladeAngemon just wasn't Enough for the Western Media... I Don't see why they didn't stick with the Digimon World 3 Name they gave it, GuardiAngemon...

I wonder if the 7 holy digimon were some wink wink nudge nudge reference to other digidestined other than the Adventure 8. I mean, we have both the partners of Meiko and Wallace prominently there. It would be funny if somehow the lines were referencing other kids from the original Adventure canon. Is it a stretch that probably doesn't work? Yeah, but it would be fun.

For those who think that Terriermon isn’t a viable Harpymon prevo, all I’m gonna say is that the Terriermon DIM card has Harpymon as a possible evo for Terriermon.

My personal favorite evolution lines for these are: Wormmon>Stingmon>Jewelbermon>Slashangemon Hawkmon>Aquilamon>Hippogriffmon>Valdurmon Terriormon>Galgomon>GoldRapidmon>ClavisAngrmon And then you add the not included Armadillomon>Ankylomon>Shakkoumon>Dominimon Because they have the same wings and the whole line is bulky and armored or you could use knightmon here instead of shakkoumon if you don’t want to use the dna digivolution mons If you use these lines then all of the adventure 2 kids plus Willis make up the holy digimon other than Davis who in my mind his ulforceVeedramon is like their champion knight

My biggest question what was better digimon sovereigns or 7 holy digimon?

Slashangemon rookie can't be Pawnchessmon White, unless we put also the twin Pawnchessmon Black Maybe Luxmon or Spadamon for Slashangemon?

The demon lords having a counterpart would make sense. They’re based on the 7 deadly sins, which have the heavenly virtues as counterparts.

Phoenixmon into varudamon makes more sense and then you can pick from the hawkmon or biyomon line to reach varudamon.

Phoenixmon is the same level as Valdurmon

The ultimate SlashAngemon line is: Veemon > Gargoylemon > Manticoremom > SlashAngemon.

I feel like someone deserves Luxmon as a Rookie but I don't know where it would fit in.

I think if this group does become an official group, it’ll be 8 not 7 because Dominimon now has an official entry line established with Luxmon, Pidmon, and Archkangemon.
