I am still glad that I grab the wii copy for 5 bucks(found at a pawn show). It was a great way to be able to play with out breaking the bank.

I’m a Klonoa fan and I prefer the original versions of the first and second game so I have to own both of them 😄

I'm very glad that Klonoa's getting some love on modern consoles. Now Mystical Ninja needs some love.

I have the Wii version but it only cost £20 or so at purchase. Personally would just buy Phantasy Reverie Series rather than paying the PS1 price.

I have a Japanese copy of Klonoa 1 that I got on eBay for around $20 several years back. Got my copy of Klonoa 2 from Amazon for $5; both CIB.

I wish people knew more about it’s such a good game. I’m glad I got my copy of Phantomile for 1$ cause I can’t see myself spending 350$+

I have been sitting on getting these games for years so this will be a good watch. I've had the digital version of the first game for years so was in no rush to pay $100+ for a copy. I want to play the 2nd but have not had a chance to pick it up. It is rare in my area. I have the GBA games and those are great!

Unpopular opinion: I really liked the character design and edgy voice acting in the wii version.

5:55 If you are a player and not a collector the best option is to purchase the PS1 original digitally on the PS3/Vita. I think it's $6.

Interesting analysis. I wonder if gamers and/or collectors are also choosing the PSX version of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile available on NamCollecrion for the PS2 in Japan as an alternative to play or own the original game and if that’s affecting the prices of this compilation.

I would recommend buying the Nintendo switch version or the PS4 or PS5 version.

It would've been interesting to have thrown the Switch version in. I think it's weird that North America didn't get a Switch version.

most collections I've noticed don't have the same graphical charm. Spyro and crash etc come to mind

I missed the switch collection when it was on sale last time for around 10 dollars. I’ll pick it up next time it goes on sale I enjoyed the demo. Right now I’m playing Kudzu, I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys gameboy games like links awakening.

The PS1 version is also unecessarily more difficult than the remakes, because the enemies don't curve with the level path when you throw them, and the controls are a lot more stiff. My GF is really good at the Klonoa series, and even she struggled a lot with it. And when I say "really good", I mean she can 100% one of the games in one sitting,

I can settle for Klonoa 1 Digital on my PS3/PSP/PSVita (and if I had a Physical I'd be playing it on said PS3 anyway so whatever 🤷‍♂️) Already have Klonoa 2 on PS2 and Klonoa Wii as well (both still MINTY FRESH 😅) as well as the Reverie Collection Physical on PS5 and Switch (and Digital on PS4/PS5/Switch/Xbox as well) I don't know if/when it could happen but Namco is also one of the very few publishers who's been getting their PS1/PSP games released through PS+ Premium on PS4/PS5 since that all started. Edit: Man, I always forget how much nicer that NA Cover Art for Klonoa 2 is... I might nab a copy next pay just to display 😅

I ordered most of the klonoa games I bought them before the reverie series was announced I paid 250 disk only for ps1 back in September of 2021 I got the Wii copy complete for 90$ in October 2021 And the ps2 version for 70$ complete in July 2022 And back in 18 I got the gba copy for 25$ cart only. I don’t know if prices were worth it or not but compared to what they were in 2020 and me thinking they would go higher in price not thinking a reboot would be any possibility

So I'm in a Hockey league and I told myself if I win I'm going to get The Futurama game. I'm currently in the finals, I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion as to which version of the Futurama game to get. Xbox or PS2?

If you have a ps3 and you want to play klonoa 1, you can get it digitally for very cheap. I think maybe $10? It was a long time ago that i bought it, but it was well worth it.

The Reverie collection is no where near as good as the originals!

Yeah, I got the PS1 game digitally on the PS3 when Sony made the announcement of shutting down their PS3 store. Even though it's a great game, it felt kinda short to me. 100% the whole game in one sitting. I don't see the worth in buying the physical, not when it's ~$350, and more.

The books are better.

Only a complete nerd would pay that price for such an old and extremely boring game. Retro game collectors are losers
