That looked pretty spot on, Vindaloo on the menu too !! Talking of getting into the wrong car, a few of us took a coach tour in Japan once and we stopped at a small village somewhere, got out for a look around and found this quaint little shop with lots of interesting ornaments etc, so we're picking this stuff up looking for prices etc, the lady there made us tea, she couldn't speak any English but she was very nice to us, next thing the coach tour guide came in and pointed out that we'd waltzed into a private house .. The tour guide said that he'd been summoned by another family member to come and help out but the amazing thing was she wasn't at all angry or anything, yet we're unhooking pictures from the walls looking for prices, handling her ornaments etc so we figured it must have happened before ...

Wow that’s an awesome story and memory
Hi Lee, I'm a Perth girl, it was nice to see videos of familiar spots that i recognised. I shop in the area where the indian restaurant is but never been there but i have been to the indian grocery shop next door. I'll have to check out the restaurant now. Looks good. I hope you enjoyed your time in Aus. Such a vast country with so much to see.

Well I didn't expect an indian review but it makes a nice change from Fish&chips fantastic guests
You don’t half meet some lovely people on your travels - how lovely are these two! Be great to see them again on your vlogs😊
Why can't restaurants clean their menus. Nothing worse than handling menus covered with stains and fingerprints. A big no-no for me!!!

Thumbs-up to Paul & Debs again 👍what a lovely couple. The food looked great, After watching this vlog, my wife and I are off for a curry later now. Hope you had a good flight home.
What a lovely couple. Best of luck to you Lee with your future travels.
《Quote》" Peshawari naan is a close cousin of Kashmiri naan. The specialty of this flatbread is that it is sweet in taste due to the use of sultanas (raisins) and coconut. Traditionally, this naan has a lot of nuts, and dry fruits stuffing along with coconut that gives a sweet flavor to the naan "《end quote》

I'm glad you all had a lovely night out. Thanks for your hospitality Paul and Debs, and Lee for taking us along. The Indian food looked amazing. I probably wouldn't have been able to sit in the restaurant to eat though with the music as loud as you've said.
Food looked great. 10/10 for Pauls "brilliant". And his bar tending was impeccable. Greta vid, thanks for inviting us.
A nice relaxed video with a lovely couple. The food looked lovely and I would also miss a pickle tray.

Wow this is a Foodie Special ,made me hungry after watching.🎉
Lovely to see Paul and Debs again Lee.. The Spice Tray is missing for those Papadoms. The Samosas have an unusual appearance
@JanetBrown-px2jn

That’s exactly how the samosas look in NewYorkCity, and the restaurant owners are East Asian born,so I think that is perhaps how they made them in their home country.

I should have said that there is no spice tray given with the Poppadoms here either, just mint sauce, and tamarind sauce, also no charge for the Poppadoms,or sauces.Poppadoms is fairly new here they use to give you coconut soup, dhal, and a cabbage dish at the start of a meal.

I did that, once! Was having 'technical difficulties' with my own rust-heap, so got a lift into work, the car pulled up in the agreed spot, and I got in, started to say thanks, and the guy turned and said who are you? Identical car, identical colour, but not the right one! OOPS! Most apologetic, and got out again.
Lovely couple - just to send you both my best wishes. From right here in Brum!!!
Hi Lee food looked amazing lovelly couple as well onion barges looked tasty❤
For your next indian give these places a go. Saroor Fremantle, dhaba, the punjab, imperial court. these are where the locals hang out. these are all north indian cuisine. for south indian give this place a shot. curry virundhu. a local with indian heritage top tip. 🙂
Thanks for reviewing Royal Taka , I've never been there but drive past it several times per day 😂😂😂, will pay it a visit now ( and will take a jacket with me ) .
Lovely couple and the food looked great, 👍
😋🤤🤤 Food looking good. Nice video 😂👍👌
All the food looked mouthwatering Especially the Lamb.👍
I'm pleased you managed to get to Ellenbrook and you weren't disappointed. Nice one Lee... Safe travels. Love the channel great work ...
Not a bad looking curry each dish well presented. Excellent vlog.
looks like you have had an epic journey brought back memories of Oz back in the 80's. have to say preferred Perth/Freemantle and Adelaide in S. to E coast.
What a lovely couple dining with you. Those were the BEST onion bhaji's I've ever seen. I'm so envious lol. I hate those Supermarket stodgy ones.
Ca I say I loved the music you played tonight . I know it is hard to please everyone but I am not keen on jazz which is used a lot. I enjoy your videos. - Australia is vast and very different. I hope you get to see some of the country and not just the cities
lovely dining with Eddie and his wife :)
Hun those glasses that you had were lovely . we're you trying to be Dj LOL xxx
Food looked very nice and the bread too with good company.
Food looked lovely and plenty of it too. For once I was eating a curry at home at the same time so I didn't feel left out !
Nice one Lee. 👍 Food looked fantastic.. Yes, Balti definitely from Brum but not authentic Indian. Deb and Paul are a lovely couple. Onwards my friends..👍👍
I admire how you respect others customers privacy ...
I surmise that Lee and Paul had three Tiger beers each at dinner, with Paul's wife having the one Kingfisher beer, since there were seven beers on the tab. That was a very nice dinner at a quite reasonable price per person.
Paul trying to stitch you up. 😂. Great video again Lee.

Love a good indian 👌 great vlogs mac
Whilst I was working for an indian takeaway my family and I went to melbourne for a family friends wedding and we decided to try an indian in the central business district and it was lovely just a bit of a shock when the weather is so warm even in the evening compared to back home!
Love the shot size!!!!!!
Got me again - those Bhajis look fantastic
Surely, you are not convinced that Australia has any influence on the Indian Chef that cooks the food? Did you not notice that the glasses are upturned beer bottles? The Balti curry has been a popular dish since its creation. The Pakistani curry is easy to make, full of spice and always served in a small steel wok known as a ‘balti bowl.’ Due to the curry’s popularity, there has been some deliberation over why the dish is, in fact, named Balti and where the curry originates from. Traditionally, the dish is served in a wok, alongside rice and other accompaniments such as naan bread. Balti houses, restaurants that only serve Balti style dishes, often serve large Karack naan bread that is broken into pieces and shared by the whole table. There have been debates over why Balti curry was named ‘Balti’ but it has been concluded that the name originates from the pot that the curry is traditionally cooked in, not a particular ingredient or method of cooking as first thought. All Balti dishes must be cooked and served in the original pots for them to be officially classed as Balti. Any ingredients can be included in the sauce, such as vegetarian options or any meats. It’s believed that Birmingham is the original home of the Balti due to its large number of Balti houses. Local legends suggest Balti cooking first appeared in 1977 in a restaurant called Adil’s which was located in the inner-city area of Birmingham, Balsall Heath.
Those beer prices were damn good for a restaurant. Many places would charge $9 or $10
Excellent couple would love to meet them in Australia would be fun
Love the glass's in the Indian, And that looks like 4 fingers of Jim B that you have at the end ! Hurtie head time the next day ???
that lamb looked superb
It is interesting that they tell you how many pieces are in each dish. What you don't know, is how big they are. But prices seem reasonable.
Enjoying your trip, brave man Chicken Tikka and a white T-shirt.. 👍 🍺
Food looks amazing, big portions also
8.9 for food, 2.1 for ambiance!
great video lee
British Indian is very unhealthy, they use a base gravy which is basically vegetable oil with spices and it's put into most curries on the menu. Brits always think its better but the cuisine was redesigned crammed with extra oil, sugar and cream to suit Uk palletes. Tika Masala came from a Korma which is much healthier, its a perfect example. I was in India after 4 years in London working, the food was so much healthier. There are British Indian restaurants here and there in Australia if you prefer something stoggier.
Looked very nice I’ll give a 9. Nice video and nice guys with you.
Nice RED tan you have Lee......should have had more "slip, slop, slap" ( old Ad from Australia)
Love an Indian in the cold of the UK - not sure I could face it in the Aussie heat lol. Great vid Lee and company, rest up Lee!
You must have gone to some pretty quiet discos in Nottinghamshire Lee! Your voices were all quite clear on the video and I could hardly hear any music in the background. I'm definitely going to take my daughter and her family out for an Indian meal when I visit them in Newbury next month.

Whats with that short changed beer glass, no thanks, but the food looked Delicious & for what you got including the extra drinks very cheap. another great Vlog Lee. Onwards
You should try the Australian vindaloo - nice, slightly acidic, medium curry.
Good Evening Debs, Paul and Lee. A very nice Indian Establishment i thought. Looking at the Menu, i noticed each dish was priced up as A La Carte. I always go for Onion Barhgi's as well, the Lamb and Vegetable Samosa's looked really Delicious and very well cooked and presented. You did need the Pickles tray and a few poppadoms for three Guests. They should have placed on your table a Hot Plate with the Candles inside it, to keep your Dishes Hot. Each of the Dishes looked very Lovely and cooked very Well. I did like your Unique Drinking Vessels. Tiger is a very nice Light beer to have with one's Indian Meal. As for background music, i am the same as you. It has to be at a Comfortable level, not like as if You were in a Bollywood Movie Set. Bangra Music is rather nice, in the right place at decent level, Not booming out Deffening the Customers. I would personally give this Restaurant a Score of: ( 8/10 ). Very Good value for your money. For three people including all of the Beer. Excellent from me to the ROYAL TARKA INDIAN RESTAURANT!!!!!!. I really Loved and it was Great seeing Lovely Debs and Paul again. Thank you very much Lee. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looked great! That's a triple in my books to lmao
Great 😀
I'd head for the C Restaurant in the city before you go.... You'll get a couple spins round while you eat.... great views.
I knew someone from Manchester living here who liked a chicken 'jalfreezi' curry..which they didn't have on menu here and I'd not heard of it, but restaurant knew what it was and made it just for him.
The imperial in Rockingham Beach is pretty good Wow, eating a Curry with a knife and fork
legends that couple are lee! yep how's your head hope its better after that shot lol regarding the curry looked good but tbh i agree with you on this one the onion bhaji looked amazing and im from the black country lol hate the flat ones i have lately
Lovely couple
The food looks amazing! Please share the name of the restaurant :)
you have to try Aangan in Restaurants in Melbourne next time, but very loud
I don't like Indian food personally but my partner loves it so I've seen a few dishes and been to a few restaurants. I do agree that they should have had those candle heaters to keep stuff warm, but this place looked rather basic compared to a lot in the UK with their fancy lighting and plush decor etc, but maybe it was just this place, I don't know. The food looked ok to me and you all liked it so all was good. I loved the beer glasses and want a couple, Ha! I've seen spirit glasses like that before but never beer glasses. Enjoyed the video.

Well, you can't judge a place on a single restaurant. There's good and bad ones all over Australia. Sydney has the biggest variety of cuisines I've seen though, the usuals like Italian, Chinese, Indian etc, but also less well known ones like Nepalese, Burmese, Singaporean etc. The variety is amazing.
Lee, think you need to go to India and try the food there. I was there last week and Delhi is like nowhere else, just pure chaos. Interestingly I did not see one menu with onion baji on it, could be a regional thing. But the samosas I saw were all massive. Get yourself a Mango Lassi at some point if you can, Some Indian restaurants sell them in the UK.

The Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi community is relatively new to New York City, and the restaurants here also don’t seem to have onion bhajis,I think they are more of a UK thing.
The most you can claim is that you're talking about what 1 Indian restaurant in Australia. Nothing to support your generalisation. We regularly go to 3 different Indian restaurants near us in suburban Sydney - we go to all 3 because they are different and we like those differences.
You've made some nice new friends 😊
I want a curry now, but haven’t long got in from work. Suppose a few beers and a curry is called for on Saturday.
