WOW EVERYONE, not even 24 hours after posting so impressed with the comments and feedback. I really wanted this video to be more about just the packages, but when I start talking about this car it is hard to stay in one area, but that is why I did not go into other options and so forth , really would have been confusing. There are items I did not talk about but shared in the end slides about the packages and again overall just excited about the amount of content we have in these cars. I am not at the moment ready to buy a vette yet. I have pinpointed the age when I would like to buy one someday hopefully. I have a 17 camaro ss and everytime I push the pedal down it puts a smile on my face. I actually became a chevy v8 fan when I bought a 99 trans am with the corvette engine a year after I joined the service. I was in a dark place after my divorce and that camaro pulled me back to the light. Everytime I look at my camaro I smile. I think I am destined to be with chevy. First car was a chevy cavalier and hopefully my last car will be the corvette.😊

Another perfect example of why Rick Conti is such a valuable resource to the Corvette enthusiast and community with videos like this. Even if you’re not currently “in the market” to purchase, just learning great info about our cars is what I love about Rick. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought new cars - or anything for that matter - when you’re spending your hard earned cash on something and the salesperson doesn’t know or give a crap about the product - they just want your money. Your vid is from 4 years ago, but in May 2023 I bought a 2016 Z06, convertible, auto, 3LZ, in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. The car is awesome. Thanks for the video!

Nice breakdown Ricky! When I went in over the last few years - went 3LT and 3LZ for everything I own. Did not get into the details at that time but wanted the best for the dream car. Good information and BIG thank you for the time and effort to post this for the pending consumer. Your time is of value as we have discussed in the past - this is a good value review that can be utilized for everyone interested or already driving a C7. Very cool.

Perfectly described Rick. One thing to add is the cross flag emblem on seats on 2lt unless you get the comp seats which have and love btw. This was awesome Rick to describe these packages that some ppl didn't even know about. I always enjoy my 3lt z51 every 🌞 day we can get.

Info, I didn't know so thanks a lot! Now what I do know is the car business after 35 yrs. This guy gives a superb walk around and great product knowledge. I can also tell you a guy like this at a dealership is THE most valuable player there. More so than any manager by far.

Great explanation of the packages Rick. One thing I noticed with the side rocker was that it seemed like I was always hitting my foot on it when I got in a car with the standard one. On the GS you ordered for us we went with the #2 aero package and I have never hit my foot getting in or out on the one that come with that because of the small indentation it has. And, it has done a great job protecting the paint.

Btw since I bought my stingray last week I didn’t know it had a remote start till I saw one of your videos last night so I got up the morning and i found out my vett remote starts 😂because when I bought it I was just clicking 3 times on the remote and I thought My package didn’t come with remote start till I saw you saying press and hold the button to remote start it and trust that made my day.

I have a 96 Corvette but I'm in the process of looking for a new Corvette. I'm a little underside about what to get my mind is on the Z06 but the sports coupe 2LT looks so nice with the right color. David appreciate you watching and the comment, surprisingly, CA is one of the Top 5 states I do business in...people either order and do a museum delivery or have the car shipped...for the amount of money you pay, 9 times out of 10 you save and it's soooo much easier than your local stores - you ever get to that point happy to walk you through the steps and we will have a Vlog soon about buying from afar

Just a side note here; As much as I like the C-7 model vette, its so low to the ground that I just can't own one where I am living. One thing I've noticed is that the car has gotten lower over the years. The C-3 models had pretty much the same ground clearance as all the other cars made during that time. I might be able to drive a C-4 model in my area, [too many large speed bumps!], but it would be very close. I will have to settle for a restored C-3, or C-4 for now.

Hi rick, I just bought 2014 black on black stingray and I totally agree with you on “you should drive and make the most of your money”. looking at all the corvettes you have they look so nice, looks like you pick the best. I can’t wait to be able to afford one of those z06 brand new but for now I love my car even tho I didn’t get the chance to pick all the features I would want since I have the 1LT.
