As far as the woman tone, I think he meant to say take all the TREBLE off, not the bass... because he said roll the tone back to zero or one.

Great as always Jeff! Not a question related to the video, but have you ever thought about making a backing track for When The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game? Not sure if you're as much as a fan as i am, but there none on youtube currently

JEFF WILLIAM, make a whole lesson about Claptons woman tones because on a strat when rolling down the tone to 0 or 1 its very muffled plus the volume level drops in half when the tone rolled down which its hard to get that Clapton Cream woman tone. I think you have to do some other tricks to make it work correctly.

Eric Clapton is a competent guitarist, but he doesn't seem to have the fiery originality of the Black blues players - like the Kings, B. B., Albert, and Freddy, Buddy Guy, and Albert Collins among others. I remember reading one critic who said, Eric Clapton knows every blues cliché that has ever been played!"

It’s “Hendrix” with an “x”. You could say that Eddie Van Halen smoked them both, and that Allan Holdsworth was better than them all. Or you could just view them all as having brought something great and unique to music, which is what I recommend.

I prefer Clapton to them all. It's all a matter of personal taste. He is very musical and melodic to me. His playing is very vocal-like. To my ears, when playing gets more technical, it loses the qualities I prefer most. Never really saw making music as a contest or like an Olympic sport that should be judged by degree of difficulty. Clapton has proven how versatile a blues-based style of playing can be and that was pretty much his self -stated goal.
