One of the major cause is transportation. Try and use public transport and/or travel on a rented electric bike. What's this madness about smoking petrol and obsessing over a damaged chain. Wake up and open you eyes. Things are changing drastically.

Tribocor lube is the shittiest one I have ever used. Even after regular application my chain started showing signs of rusting for the first time. The lube just washes off. Motul was 1000 times better.
