What Actually Changed 2,5 Years on Testosterone FTM
Ойын-сауық
Hi! I’m a trans guy, transitioning female to male.
8 October 2020 - started testosterone
9 November 2021 - top surgery
Everything has changed, and I wanted to talk a bit about it. I don’t enjoy it, looking back and giving it some thought, like it doesn’t make me happy to remember how miserable I was. But I think it makes me grateful. It’s a nice feeling. It’s important to take a step back sometimes. Kind of looking back at what took you here. And I like that sometimes wearing a t shirt it’s enough to get that great full feeling.
Testosterone made me me again. Maybe not "back to being a kid again", but it reminds me of the feeling in some ways.
Thank you for watching!

thank you! good luck, and i hope you can find peace while you're figuring out some of this stuff😊
it feels so nice to have somebody that can talk about how they felt and how they wanted everything to change. i have not started t yet and you talking about those negative feelings in the past tense makes me feel hopeful and like i can relate to somebody

yeah it truly just completely sucks being trans when you're stuck and thanks, really appreciate it
I like, very informational! The music midway through made it quite lighthearted, like an early morning breakfast commercial meets a y2k tv show yk? But to see the journey you've gone through is inspiring, and motivating to never give up and create the reality that you want. Which you did, the love, and confident you exude is awesome to see!

thank you! i think sometimes "doing stuff for yourself" gets a bad wrap, that it would be selfish. isn't the opposite selfish? because then you're doing the thing just to do it, creating an untrue image of yourself for others, and yourself. and that is nothing more than something to look at, something for you to look at to feel a certain way or avoid feeling a certain way. being nice, helping others: what place is it coming from? is it without ulterior motive? i think one way is sustainable, one is not.

no, i take it back. like... actual selfish actions. they are always coming from a "doing it for myself" place

@@viggo100 Yeah being selfless and selfish has their dualities but I defiently think both are needed in life to function. You can't live for others, something I strive to work on as I have people pleasing tendencies

@@viggo100 There can be a healthy duality, but if it's in spite, or hatred, or greed "doing it for myself" gets a little morphed. I think "doing it for myself" because I have to for my own good. Well, is..good yk?

Did your breast become smaller as a result of testosterone or surgery?

I’ve had surgery! I’d heard before surgery that testosterone and working out would help with reducing breast size but that wasn’t my experience at all. Testosterone didn’t help with chest dysphoria for me :( top surgery did it!
Pretty guy

I trained for nine years before I ever touched my first bottle of Testosterone E. I put on thirty-two lbs. in just six weeks. I was 5ft 10 in at 215 and blew up 247 lbs. six lbs. being water weight. I can not believe youngsters use gear at such a young age. Hollywood, and Society; (now youtube ) has put so much stress on young men and women to be perfect: there is no such thing as perfect. I would have done some of the same things these youngsters are doing. From body image to buying mouthpieces to chew on to make you look more chiseled. This is out of hand. Beauty is scarce: most have bought their beauty. And men aren't far behind. All are vanity.

Hi! No, okay maybe a misunderstanding. I'm transgender, that's why I'm on testosterone. I'll make it clearer on the title. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and I totally agree. The image of perfect is causing so much stress and pain to a large portion of people.
