Yes, that girl was from a different dawn, her name is Ahri. Yes, Yasuo is from the climb. The reason Yasuo didn't attack the demon and fought his brother in the beginning of the fight was because he was drugged, kinda like under the influence of drugs so the old man kinda programmed Yasuo to protect him while draining his negative emotions(see the purple aura on the old man's arms? He was draining that time) to get stronger. If you noticed, it took Yasuo to pass out and a few words and a gesture from Yone("better than living without it") for him to recognize and for his drink to wear of. It's also the reason why Yasuo was fighting poorly in the beginning of the fight. So Yone defeated the demon but is now half demon half human, he gained demonic powers but he isn't possessed by it as we can see in the Path's ending. He is now a demon hunter. Think vampires biting a man who is now half vamp and turns into a vampire hunter, something similar with Yone.

I'm sure this'll be explained, but the guy with the shoulder armor is Yasuo (he does wind sword stuff), the other is his brother, Yone (Yo-nay). Yasuo was supposed to protect their master, saw a village in trouble, left the master to protect the people and slaughter a ton of bad guys. While he was gone, the master was visited by a champ called Riven who has a wind sword sort of deal, that was shattered. She wanted him to try and fix it. Thing exploded, master got killed by it. Since Yasuo is the only wind guy in the area, everyone thought it was him. Yasuo ran so he wouldn't have to kill people he cares about, brother caught up with him, Yasuo had to kill him. Yone is now a champion cause he back. Sorry for the novel, abbreviated it as best I can

@@TrueGawd Riven actually was trying to break the sword, not fix it. Riven is the gladiator girl from the awaken cinematic, who was once a peasant who joined the Noxian army. She became known as the best swordswoman in Runeterra, and was granted a special rune sword. On one mission, her regiment was sent to escort a magical fire created by Singed (not seen in cinematics but playable in game) to a warfront in Ionia. However, they were ambushed, the magical fire unleashed, and both sides died horrible deaths to the gas and fire. Some survived, but not without horrible injuries, but Riven was unscathed because of her sword. Because the attack was so terrible, Riven deserted and wanted to break the rune sword to show her rebellion, she felt she didnt deserve that special treatment. Since then Riven has confronted Yasuo, apologized, confessed to the Ionian people, and even adopted by a local village chief. She uses the broken sword to perform wind magic in non-violent ways, using it to push people around and knock them out. Because Riven confessed, both she and Yasuo have been forgiven, this is why they can walk around in broad daylight in Ionia now.

Yasuo's Voice Actor is Liam O'Brien. He does voices for other characters such as Gaara (Naruto), War (Darksiders), Illidan (World Of Warcraft) and many more. Definitely one of my favourites!

11:30 it is a demon called Azakana. They feed on negative emotions of humans. Because of war there is a lot of them. While Yone was chasing Yasuo one of Azakanas was feeding on his emotion of regret. But Yasuo killed him before demon ate Yone's soul. So demon came for him in the afterlife in the spirit realm, Yone defeated demon and took his sword(red one). After that he woke up in his body, but with the mask of this demon stuck to his face. So he is hunting other Azakanas in order to understand what they are and remove the mask from himself. Elder in the cinematic is Azakana who feeds on Yasuo's self-flagellation, so he stimulated his memories of the moment he killed Yone. That the reason why Yasuo is fighting with Yone and tries to protect the elder here.

Itachi isn't falsely accused. He did slaughter his clan. The motives are what were hidden. Yasuo did not kill his master. He was blamed for it. Yone hunted him down not out of anger but to stop him from further dishonoring himself. Really nothing like sasuke and itachi at all. Not even close lmao

I've been waiting for this haha love it! Yasuo killed his older brother Yone in their duel before because Yasuo was scared, everyone in Ionia were they both lives they accuse I think Yasuo because they thought he killed their Elder/Master. So Yasuo run then Yone his brother chase after him. When Yone died, he turned into somethin like A Hunter? Were his role is to find and eliminate demons like the old guy. More like a protector. Yone really loves his brother in the end even in his after life form.

Determined to thrive on her own power this time, she departs. PS: One of her short stories tells the tale of a fox maiden who fell in love with a painter. She weakens and weakens, determined not to hurt anyone else, until he begs her to give in to her desires and end him. She does, which leads her to travel to a flower garden that basically sucks the memories out of people, unable to deal with the guilt. You should probably read it for yourself, it’s very impactful.

That was older brother from myth who represents Yone.

The demon is called an azakana. It feeds off of negative feelings and it hides within society, yasuo was feeling guilt his whole life and the azakana used it against him. The drink made yasuo powerless and blind to the demon but his memory of yone restored him. When yone said "then why are u runnin" that was his wakeup call

Azakanas is a demon who feeds on the negative emotions from its host for a very long time so you can say that that old man is Yasuo's own demon, the negative thoughts that come to life.

The whole reason why he was fighting Yone... Is because he was INTING..

You have to know that Yone was fighting in the war (Ionia vs Noxus). He was the only one that survived from his battleground. They lost to enemy that's why Yasuo says that his honor stains the ground. Yone felt guilty when he heard that Yasuo killed his master (he didn't) beacuse he thinked that he didn't teach his younger brother well. To restore his and brothers honor he decided to catch and kill Yasuo, but he died in fight. In afterlife he was bitten by the demon and he returned to the world of the living. Now he is the demon hunter beacuse he want to know what he has become (Sorry for bad grammar)

To add, i saw a couple of people in the comment section vaguely explain why yasuo defended the demon. one of the reasons was the drink. you can see him enter a trance after drinking that weird shit the old man offered him (you can see it when they focused on his eyes). the drink was most likely to exaggerate his feelings of regret hence you can see him stuck in the flashback of him killing his brother, because that’s how the demon feeds off of him, through his negative emotion of persistent regret. another reason might be that the demon’s true form is invisible to him, he can only see his facade of an old man. but he soons break free from this illusion when he said the line “I’m done running,” in response to what his brother said during the flashback. at this point, he finally comes to terms with this regret and is ready to face and let go of his “demon,” so to speak, which is why he was finally able to see the demon for what it truly is.

Yasuo's name and Yone's are pronounced kind of like Japanese name. It kind of makes sense cuz Ionia (country where they come from) has a lot of similarities with Japan (ninjas, landscapes, way of life).
