Finnish swimming history. Best part of the story is no one was expecting him to get a medal. What a shock it was to read news in the morning that Matti Mattson had won bronze medal with a new national record time. He was also the Athetic of The Year in 2021. For those who care about statistic, Matti Mattson won the first Finnish swimming medal on 25 years (by men). And what it comes to the breaststroke medals, his was the frist after 101 years!

That’s how I like to swim 200 breast lol. My first zone cut was a negative split 200 breast (1:21/1:19 =2:40)

What a choke by Chupkov in the last 50m, he was on the WR line the entire race, should've easily won
