The Prophet ﷺ said: ❛When Allah wants good for a servant, He makes use of him.❜ He ﷺ was asked: ❛How does He make use of him?❜ He ﷺ said: ❛By helping him do a good deed right before he passes away.❜ [At-Tirmidhi 2142 | Graded Sahih] #husnulkhatimah..........

6 ways to earn deeds after death: 1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Each time one reads from it you gain. 2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it you gain. 3) Participate in building a masjid. 4) Place a watercooler in a public space. 5) Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or an animal sits in it's shade or eat from it. 6) And the easiest of all, share this message with people jazakAllah sheikh for the lecture, may Allah s.w.t. bless you and your co-workers for the beautiful work! we selam from Shkodra, Albania

CULTURE CAME FROM PEOPLE ISLAM CAME FROM ALLAH SO REMEMBER TO FOLLOW ISLAM OVER CULTURE

Not every culture believes in arranged marriages, I think for reverts there is a sense of worry and confusion that they'd lose their ancestors' culture and have to sacrifice their culture they know and love for Islam or for Arab culture.... Also, from what little I know - Islam didn't come to replace anyone's culture, it came to guide people towards morality. I don't see how it is Sunnah to make others abandon their culture, especially if their culture already emphasises respect and love towards the elderly.

Islam came to abolish evil practices of culture, not culture itself. We have toxic practices in our cultures. We also have very beneficial and endearing ones. We preserve the good and do away with the evil. That, and Allah knows best

Thats why we as muslims cannot cut out one sentence from the Quran or sunna ,and follow other verse . Follow the religion means ,trying your best to be the best man or woman in terms of following the Quran and the Sunnah of our beloved prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h . That will make us righteous believers in our lord Allah jalla waala , insha'Allah ameen. And not only for people/our spouses. Salam walikom

But, if a women wears a headscarf, but wears tight jeans etc. Why would I look at her heart? If her heart was close to rightiousness the hijab would be there automstically? Am I wrong brothers and sisters.

The point wasn’t to be lax about hijab, it was about looking at the hijab but *also* further than that. Not every woman who wears hijab is righteous, but every righteous woman wears hijab. Just like not every man with a beard is righteous, but every righteous man keeps a beard (if they can grow one, of course).
