What a performance that was. We absolutely destroyed Inter and Henry had Zanetti, one of the greatest defenders of all time, on toast. That was a breathtaking game. Henry showed in that game that he was the best player on the planet at the time. He is the greatest Arsenal player I have ever seen in my life. What a player.

Noe Donis I have for the first time just watched some matches in full from the Invincible era ...the team then was better than any other team over the last decade or more in the EPL. Frankly none of the players in the current team would get into the 11 of those days.

He could've pass it to Pires for a tap-in but Pires seemed hesitated and he wasn't on the right angle, So Henry has quickly decided to go alone in a tight angle with his weak foot in front of the best right back in that period

@@bisdfff6276 He clearly deserved it in 2003 but in 2004, it's hard with Sheva who was the best striker of Calcio (the more difficult league at that time) and Deco who won his portuguese league, the UCL and reached the Euro's final. But for sure, he didn't deserve in 2006 because he just had to win a final. Eto'o scored more, provided more assists, beat Henry in the UCL final as man of the match. Eto'o deserved the ballon d'or 2006, not Henry because of that arguments but also because he was more consistent (he scored more game for game) and decisive (he never scored the goal of 3-0 or 4-0 but always the 1st goal, the equaliser or the goal who gave advantage).

as i Inter fan i remember this match . We won first match 3-0 lol . By the way how people compare mbappe with henry ??? we grow up with henry . He s the best striker in the world for me

So I asked my teammates which club we would support. Arsenal or Inter? They laughed and said Arsenal! I asked why? They said you'll see! With every second that the game went on, I was more and more fascinated by the style of play, the unbelievable class of Henry, Bergkamp, ​​Pires and Co. Those were great players (I am a BIG dinho fan!!) but none of them came close to the form Henry produced in 2003. Let's always be forthright on these things man

That team was so close to greatness!!! Broke my heart when we didn't get the champions league and the decline afterwards. Never won a back to back prem either but boy we were a different stratosphere than our current team. Every single club in Europe respected what we were capable of and now we are just a joke that nobody fears playing.

Two things ashley cole did in that video I really loved. The assist, which consisted of first time football and a goal, and the technique used to switch play to henry on the wing. Quality left back we had man😔

I got to see him play once as a Red Bulls player at the end of his career, and even then you could see that he just stands out. He was a terror on two feet to any defense.

Who remember playing FIFA 07 on PS1? Every time Thierry had a free kick.... aim straight at corner post, tap circle.....gets it in everytime...

Arsenal champions league 2003=2nd group phase 2004=Quarter-finals, lost at home to Chelsea (Arsenal avoided group stage elimination by the skin of their teeth, 2mins away from going out in game 4of6 AshleyCole goal). 2005=Last 16 He was never going to win the BallonDor with his club's poor champions league record. There were also many other disappointments during those years, they were in good position to win PL 2002/03 for example but lost it. France had bad Euro2004 just to name a couple, I could go on...
