This mission actually confused me a bit. In the age of "Bugs/Glitches", I wasn't sure if encountering the clog the first time was what this mission referred to? I thought I missed this mission starter on the task board earlier and accidentally cleared the clog already.

It should probably be noted that you can melee the clog from above, without having to activate the switches. While this saves you time, I found it also bugs the room. In that you can’t access the room the clog is actually in and it keeps you from collecting the chests.

found it out by accident. got sad when i couldnt finish the puzzle after

I.. shot a charge towards the clog BEFORE operating the pump... and the mission is immediately completed and I can no longer enter the lower level...
