He needed breaks. He's on chemo, Don't blame him. And he wrestled what he was contracted to with the company.

The writing is still stale..we knew the LA knight vs styles match would result in styles winning somehow..because they wouldnt put LA down with a loss in another title match yet as they are still pushing him. So hard to watch..so cringe. Crossroads is not only a weak wonky move...but the set up leaves a wrestler in perfectly fine condition to act like they are locked under his arm before it happens. Not sure why people like Cody in this position. Im seeing vibes of when he was mid to lesser in terms of quality of matches.
