Regenerate was a turning point for me. I started guitar when I was 15 but I stopped for many years due to school and work (I know, bull**** reasons). But when I got back to it, I saw Regenerate and I was like, "Holy s***" That video turned me onto a whole new style of metal, Agile guitars, and a mild addiction to your music. Thanks, Pete!

I've been following you for years, Pete, and I love your new content just as much as your old content. Sure, the quality is better now, but I still go back and listen to some of your older songs like Moonshine and Regenerate. Keep going, man. Congrats for turning 10 years old on YT! Although I didn't get to comment nearly as much as I wanted to, I've been following your content for almost 8 years from now. I've gotta say, my favorite-videos have always been the collaborative things and the 1 riff/20 bands-challenges. There's something magical happening, when KZreadrs come together for music-projects, and the riff-challenges were always fun, but also very inspiring. Looking forward to the future, and trying to interact here a little bit more, again!

At my eyes you're one of the best KZread guitarists Pete, technicaly and for the inspiration of all your creation. I remember few years ago discovering your videos and watching them again and again thinking that i would love to do like you. Your music really deserves to be know and listened by everyone. I think my favorite video is the Dominion song played on one of your first and old guitare, but the solo of Adèle cover with Léo is just awesome and perfect ! Keep going, it's everytime a pleasure to hear you play, long live to your music Pete🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻

cannot be that bad. The new video of 8 days has volume for drums and bass, but the most essential is the guitar and we barely hear everything.

Just curious, what are you watching/listening on? I’ve seen comments like this a couple of times regarding the guitars being too low. It sounds fairly well balanced on my setup, so just curious to know which devices or setups it sounds too low. Thanks for watching! :)

@@peteplaysmusic The clearity of the guitar is okay in the 2012 recording. But for viewers I guess it is okay. Like Dave Mustain from Metallica, when he formal of Metallca in 1982, he ajusted his sound really high, even James talked about it. They were getting ready for recording. And if you listen to the Kill Em All album it is still okay. Without Dave, things would have been different for their scooped next album. The speakers I have a cinematic ready and reproduced many times. Many recordings you hear on the Net is lower than CD quality treble. This morning is a good time to check sound because of the ears had resting time at sleep. Yesterday, I played in front of my amp, standing. I'm never sit when guitar time. This Sony recorder is so neet for fuzz, I cut the bass with a Parametric Equalizer. Here is what I was going to write. Pete Cottrell Interesting. I don't know if you are cursed like many vloggers. But any speaker should be good to judge the shared volume of the final mix. Reminds me of Lars Ulric when he said, " Stop, stop the music, where is my drum sound." The final mix was just destroyed by the bass. Bass lags and muffles guitar sound. The complexity of Metallica's guitar in the album ...And Justice For All was really something, but recorded for Casette tech. Magnetic Tape. How to keep them sounds for a long time was to cut some of the DB of bass guitar. I have 7.1 Sound Blaster speakers. And if I hear this saturated bass and drums when the bass adjustment.

There is just a few clips that have clearity like Garage Days, almost Garage Dave (Channel) almost Dave Mustain. So the band Synlacross is clearer and the album Garage Days here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/jI5txdt_ns7IY5s.html

How about a series where you use an unconventional piece of gear to play 20 bands heavy riffs. "1 guitar, 20 bands" "1 amp, 20 bands" Like a strat or Tele or a big hollow body or a blues Jr or Princeton or vox. The goal being to make a non metal piece of gear do metal. Does that make sense?
