Have you ever seen whales up close like this in the wild? We had an incredible time whale watching and getting lunch at Fisherman's Wharf - such a great experience 😊

I WHALEY love whales 🐳! What amazing amazing experience to have and be able to share! They were amazing and huge! What gentle giants! The boat looked pretty cool too! Nothing live some donuts and fish and chips to finish off a day like that!

Wow! You guys got so lucky with those whales 🤗 reminds me of my whale tour in Alaska when I worked on a cruise ship 😌 just so amazing! Love the look of Fisherman’s Wharf, so vibey and wow, your fish n chips looks so good 🤤

It was such a lucky trip for us. And we loved the vibe of Fisherman's wharf too.

This seems to be lot of fun. Watching huge whales and sea lions, haven't been on whale watching tour yet. The lunch at Fisherman's wharf and the tips of whale watching were great. Another nice one.

Love the tips at the end, we both just got a little too much sun on our skin during a boat tour in Ushuaia, never did we think we’d get sunburnt at the end of the world next to Antarctica! 😅

We are sailing in B.C. and just saw our first whale up here. (I’ve seen them in CA but my man had never seen one. Such majestic creatures.❤

So much whale action!! it was awesome. And I'm definitely on board with the sweets before lunch these days. Alan hardly eats dip or sauce on anything. He was good eventually.

I am about to go on my first whale watching tour this weekend. I am trying to learn all I can before I go. I also dip my food and sauce but I think I should try spreading it. Never thought of that 😅

Fisherman's Wharf is very fun, and we really enjoyed exploring around downtown Victoria and even going outside to Sooke, BC for the potholes and some of the beaches.

Thanks very much! We chose this boat because it had washrooms on board. The open dingy style boats don't and you're gone for a few hours. So that was why we chose this kind of boat with indoor and outdoor seating.

Hi what month did you do this? We have one booked for the very beginning of June and are hearing there isn’t much activity. We awe doing it bay of Fundy.

We did this the first week of September - not sure if that's a good time or we were just really really lucky!

People don't realize whale watching is actually very high risk activity with great chance not to see any whales. The claim of 95% success rate is absolute misinformation. You need to make your own decision if you are willing to risk hundreds buck. But I have to admit it is an amazing experience if you do see whales.

Yes there is no guarantee at all. Even a slight glimpse of a whale in the far distance would "count" as a success. This experience was once in a lifetime - definitely not a usual thing.

Eagle Wing Tours is fantastic! Was up there this past summer and toured with them. Can't say enough good things.
